Introduction - Why a hybrid? Top

Well, because he's a hybrid character of course!

But honestly speaking, Kharazim is truly a hybrid, and yet, all the builds I see out there swing from one extreme to another - Full support or Full DPS.

Given my own and others experience, I believe there is a niche to be filled - That of a truly hybrid Kharazim that can do both solid dps and yet pump out good healing.

With that in mind, I decided to focus on the synergy between both Kharazims trascendence trait and his deadly reach ability - With this, he can both heal and do dps at the same time. (Genius, I know. ;D)

As such, for me at least, his deadly reach talents are mostly non-negotiable - All of them, at levels 4, 13, and 16, are to be selected for this build; this applies to his transcendence trait as well. (some provisos below though)

Besides that, I decided to offer some more flexibility in his talent choices depending on whether you want more offensive or supportive power - the offensive build consists of way of the hundred fists at 7, with seven sided strike at 10, and a round off with epiphany, which synergizes well with the way of the hundred fists.

The more support orientated version consists of echo of heaven, divine palm, and storm shield at the aforementioned levels, for obvious reasons.

As for the negotiables, please read on.

Variable talents Top

The above highlights the general builds available; however, there may be situations that demand more specialized and situational talents.

These variations, to my mind, apply solely at level 13, in regards to both spell shield and relentless alone.

If you are facing some ability heavy DPS like Jaina and/ or Kael; and you're getting targeted heavily, then it might be prudent at this point to select spell shield for that extra defensive measure.

The same general reasoning applies in regards to lock-down heavy enemies for the relentless talent.

End Notes Top

That's about it; the reasoning, the builds born of that reasoning, the variables, and now all I need to do is explain why I don't take anything else. To keep it short and simple, read this - http://www.icy-veins.com/heroes/kharazim-talents

The only thing I will add to the above is that - Read carefully, as the guide above contains some errors, in terms of what should be ticked or not etc., and secondly, I do not recommend peaceful repose at 20 quite simply because you're giving up a good talent like storm shield for a crutch talent that has virtually no impact if you can land divine palm skillfully - which means just practice landing palm and gain the utility of a storm shield instead.

That's it folks! Enjoy these builds - Thanks to icy veins and their hard work in terms of laying out the nuts and bolts of this character. Please reference to their guide given above for more background information. Thanks also to simion for being the direct inspiration for this sort of build. Have fun guys!
