When using The Hunt, note that enemies that die just before The Hunt procs, or are temporarily removed from the map before The Hunt procs (e.g. devoured by The Maw or consumed by Gorge), will cause Illidan to teleport to the enemy platform.

This is generally bad, though late game it can help Illidan split push a low Core down.
