T1 Talent Top

If you are going to be tanking and not trying to be a DPS monger (don't worry, as a tank you will get lots of Hero damage and kills), taking this skills when you solo a lane or are supporting a lane makes the most sense as the health regen will help keep you in fights longer and keep you alive. You want to get as many health globes as possible as you want to build up your health regen stacks. These health regen stacks are PERMANENT for the fight, so get as many as you can and as quickly as you can, this is one reason why you are ok to Solo lane, you as long as you keep your base untouched by the enemy, but safely are collecting stacks, you will become a health monster and very hard to bring down. (Remember every 3 health globes = 1 Health Regen stack)

T2 Talent Top

Since your Frozen tempest on a lot, using abilities and such, you will drain your mana...this helps relieve the issue of running out of mana mid fight as every time you D, you will now gain mana back.

T3 Talent Top

Again, this is a tank spec, you want to stay alive and in the fight(s) for long periods of time, you will be using many basic attacks so Leeching life will keep you topped off and harder to kill when in combat.

T4 Talent Top

Army of the Dead is important because it works in 2 ways for you as a tank...first it a bonus damage when used, and 2nd the most important, when your Ghouls are up, your R becomes a heal, making you sacrifice a ghoul for health...so when being taken on by the enemy and sustaining a lot of damage, sacrificing a ghoul or 2 will keep you alive, and possibly win the engagement for you team as if you are being targeted by the enemy team, they are wasting a ton of damage, for you to be just healing back with Ghouls and other abilities taken up to this point.

T5 Talent Top

This tier of talents are nothing too special, the first 2 are the only ones that seem to go in the direction of a tank Arthas, some will argue to take Relentless to reduce stuns, ect...I still feeling going Spell Shield is the better choice as it will help reduce damage during engagements vs the enemy team.

T6 Talent Top

Immortal Coil now just adds another way to stay alive during heavy times of damage. This makes your Death coils ALWAYS heal you, so now you have another weapon, to stay alive longer.

T7 Talent Top

Legion of Northrend adds 3 more ghouls and now they last 50% longer...this just gives you more ghouls to sacrifice and still have more out for more damage, but also give you a Ghoul or 2 more to sacrifice because of the increased duration.

Summary of Play Style Top

You will be the tank, taking a lane solo is OK to do, but the goal is Health Globes and getting lots of them to add to your health regen stacks. As a Arthas tank you can engage the enemy for team fights, you can prevent enemies from running away to obtain more kills but you will be able to sustain yourself in team fights far longer than before as Arthas is now really hard to take down unless the entire team jumps you. Even if they do, you will still survive a bit if you are using your tools like Army of the Dead to heal. If you get low on health, run out of the fight so you stop taking damage but also are getting some health back from your perm regen stacks. You in late game should be tanky enough to tank towers if need be for a lane push for your team.

Just remember, this is a tank spec, you want to attract all the attention so your team mates get clean attacks in on your opponents. You may die a couple times, but as long as you die and 2-5 of your opponents go with you, and the rest of the team is alive, you did your job and well. If you kill the same amount on the enemy team and you didn't die, grats you still did your job, but really well!

Good luck and enjoy!
