This is a finisher hero which can dive in to the enemy team, finish a hero with low hp and can get back to safe. Timing is critical as always. Do not use evasion for dive, but for get out from trouble!
Hunt is one of my favorite spell in the game. Use it as often as u can! But never go in great preponderance! If you see a ranged assassin going alone, he is dead. Hunt on him and be the pain in the ***! ;) But watch out for more!
The biggest threat for Illidan is the ability damage. So Jaina and Kael'thas, try to avoid them when they are not ready for finishing.
U will live while U can attack with the Battered Assault, or Blade of Azzinoth, or against a healer or tank.
