General Overview Top

Rehgar is a Support Healer in Heroes of The Storm. He is a very versatile and can survive almost any situation when played correctly. He has the ability to buff other heroes, provide solid single target heals as well as effective aoe heals. His most potent trait is the instant mount ability that allows him a quick escape almost on demand, this can be used to chase, slow and finish a kill as well but would be only advisable with extreme caution. As of this writing this is my first HoTS guide.

Rehgar has a box of unique tricks that no other hero in my opinion possesses.

So with out further ado lets delve into him.

Rehgar's Trait Top

Instead of using a mount, Rehgar transforms into a Ghost Wolf, increasing movement speed by 30%. Transformation is instant and can be used while moving. Basic Attacks in Ghost Wolf form deal 100% more damage, but cancel Ghost Wolf. Cooldown: 3 seconds

Rehgar's Basic Abilities Top

Heal an ally for 118 + 28 per level Health, then heal up to two other nearby allies for 59 + 14 per level Health each. Cooldown: 9 seconds
Imbue an ally with lightning dealing 11 + 3 per level damage to nearby enemies and an additional 22 + 6 per level damage a second. Lasts 5 seconds. Cooldown: 8 seconds
Create a totem that slows nearby enemies by 35%. The totem has 95 + 20 per level Health and lasts for 8 seconds. Cooldown: 15 seconds

Rehgar's Ultimate Abilities Top

After a short delay, heal an allied Hero for 740 + 140 per level. (apx: 2,000 around level 20 ) Cooldown: 60 seconds
Grant nearby allied Heroes 40% Attack Speed and 30% Movement Speed. Lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 120 seconds

Rehgar's (Activatable) Optional Abilities Top

Level 1 Activate to place a Totem that heals allies in an area for 3% of their max Health every second for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 45 seconds
Level 4 Activate to reveal an area for 10 seconds. Enemies in the area are revealed for 4 seconds. **GLOBAL** Cooldown: 30 seconds
Level 7 Activate to increase Basic Attack damage by 50% for 5 seconds. Each attack costs 15 Mana. Cooldown: 25 seconds
Level 16 Activate to steal 15% of Target enemy's Max Health and slow its Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level 16 Activate to increase Attack speed by 40% and Movement Speed for 4 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level 20 Activate to reset the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities. Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level 20 Activate to give all nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max Health for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 45 seconds

Level 1 Top

Good talent for anyone who is talent-gated. In my experience i have seen a lot of people new to the support role take this because it allows you not have to worry about your mana as much. In my opinion though i dont like the trade for the healing totem especially as his is only 45 seconds. Too many free heals in a team fight to give up for mana reduction. 2nd Pick
Buff that Illidan/Thrall/Sonya!! in all honesty thats about all it is good for unless you are going DPS Rehgar. 3rd Pick
The only use for this is if your team has literally NO cc what so ever. In all honesty im not sure i have picked this. I can see it if you combo it with earthgrasp totem & Rewind. Last Pick
Amazing if used correctly. Can be dropped in the back of a team fight and heal an amazing amount especially at higher levels. Be careful of placement with this as 1 targeted basic attack can take it out. Also if you are rolling double support try to make the look like an 8 if needed at the same time so people can move through out the team fight and never lose the heals, or stagger the totem and a healing ward so that they aren't wasted. These DO NOT stack they will not give 6% if standing in an overlapped area. Yet again, amazing talent but needs to be used correctly and not just thrown out with care. Try to make it so you have it in a safe spot where it wont die its going to heal at least 3 people and/or also gives people a place to retreat to during a team fight for a moment to heal up and reengage the fight. It just makes want to cry when i see people waste healing totems by bad placement. 1st Pick

Level 4 Top

My go to pick for most of my games. With this ability and a well, you should never need to back for Mana or HP. I would always recommend grabbing this and anytime you have spare time just soaking or roaming around stay in wolf form and regen as much mana for any upcoming fights. Having this available to you at level 4 is utterly amazing and is what starts to get Rehgar really going. 1st Pick
Honestly not worth taking and losing all the regen that Feral Heart has to offer. 3rd Pick
Unless you are in dire need for dps you should pretty much never take this :( 5th Pick
This ability is too situational to use and their are so many better options in this talent tier 4th Pick
Simply put Vision Wins Games. Vision can be the difference between a win or a loss. If you can maintain your mana efficiently with out going OOM[define]Out of Mana[/define] this is very easily a must have but it must be worth the tradeoff and when used correctly it very much is so. It is a Global ability used by mainly competitive teams. Very good against a Zeratul/Nova as it not only shows you there location but reveals them for 4 seconds. With its 30 second cd it outshines clairvoyance. 2nd Pick
