The build is pretty different as far as the build before this patch, with the new addition of
Searing Attacks.
Horadric Reforging:
The reason for going
Horadric Reforging over
Purge Evil is simple.
Horadric Reforging will increase your siege damage as well as hero damage, as with
Smite it's strictly hero damage.
Retribution
Retribtion is a pretty much clear cut case on this ability tier, especially for the fact that we don't pick up
Battle Momentum at Tier 3.
Searing Attacks Ok so
Searing Attacks is a new ability that provides Tyreal with a huge boost in burst damage. The reason this ability is so much better than
Battle Momentum is because of one of Tyreals downfalls, his mana. Though it would be nice to spam your ability's as fast as you can, you will quickly realize that you become out of mana within no time. A decent length team fight at full mana usually leaves Tyreal with ether low or no mana, making Searing Attacks a more reliable boost of damage, that will leave you with mana.
Judgment
Judgment is an obvious pick here, it's here where you will be able to become very effective in ganking.
Angelic Absorbtion
Another self explanatory pick for this tier, the skill is just far more superior than the others.
Blood for Blood
This tier is flexible for the reason that
Blood for Blood suites my play style better and even though they nerfed this ability I still think its really good.
Holy ground could be picked up instead, its very good for catching out heroes and immobilizing them.
Angel of Justice
Pretty easy choice here, your ultimate is a very important part of this build and role so there's no reason you shouldn't make it better.
