2
Nova There is very little she can do against you that doesn't put her in more danger [[Burning Rage]] also prevents her from stealthing away
3
Zeratul He's in the same boat as Nova not really able to escape you but [[Void Prison]] and [[Blink]] can still make him a threat.
4

6
Li Li Because this build focuses on Butcher's ability to boost his basic attack damage her blind and speed boost on hit make her a noteworthy threat though not severly
7
Raynor With his range and knockback he can make things difficult if engaging solo
8
  No Threat
9
Zagara Quite a pain to deal with as her banelings and hydralisk add damage to you quickly as well as her movement speed boost on creep makes her a surprising threat to you
10
Muradin His ability to stun you out of your charge and knock you out of attacking range can seriously dampen what your able to do

Minced Meat Guide Top

This build is a straight forward approach to playing the butcher and recommend for when you first start playing him until you get the hand of how his moves work.(If your looking for a more advanced Butcher go to the second build)
Engage with Ruthless Onslaught and upon impact immediately follow up with Hamstring (as it benefits from the stun caused by Ruthless Onslaught due to Cheat Shot). Save Lamb to the Slaughter for runners or high profile targets. Usage of Butcher's Brand should come sparingly on enemy heroes and should be used more on jungle camps or map objectives. IMPORTANT NOTE Hamstring causes Butcher to immediately followup with his basic attack so don't try to move too soon or you will cancel it.

Out of the Frying Pan Into the Fire Guide Top

This build while at first appearing unorthodox greatly improves the reliability of your performance as him although you hamper your snowballing potential against enemies you are normally very dangerous for you or have gotten wise to the standard approach to Butcher. (I.E. the first build). We take Block as it will help in almost every available situation unlike Victuals which will provide no help when a fight breaks out in the jungle or under enemy forts, while at first reducing basic attacks only twice( charge cooldown is not yet determined but assumed to be 10secs for both/5 sec each) It can make the difference in late game battles. Envenom helps negate enemies health regen and the effects of Vampiric Assault. Final Assault is taken to prevent unit blocking of your stun as well as make your engage faster.Blast Furnace gives you a large amount of burst damage try to time it so it goes off just after Ruthless Assault to make sure the target is hit. Burning Rage will also allow you to deal better aoe damage and happen the cloaking effects of Nova and Zeratul, Spell Shield can be picked up instead if ability based assassins like Jaina or Kael'thas are present.Picking up Enrage gives you a spike in damage when below 50% Hp as soon as Enrage pops use Butcher's Brand to keep your health up to finish off the target. Finally we pick up Bolt of the Storm over the other talents as it will allow you to sudden land your Blast Furnace on unsuspected targets as well as make chasing and escaping pursuits much easier.
