The purpose of this build is to deal lots of steady damage and cc to multiple targets with the double hook into double devour combo at lvl 20+ as well as saving devour to finish heroes off and be able to spam the extra damage and heal to make up for lack of survivability. And of course the slam damage and spread for even more multi targeting.
