Meet the legend. Top

Hey guys,my name is Hellscream(yes,my real name) and this is the first guide I'm writing, and I'm not nervous at all about it.So anyway, thanks for reading,I hope you find it useful, please excuse any wrong grammar and/or spelling, and I'd love to get some feedback.Just tell me how good or how terrible it is.Please read carefully, this is a solid build with about 80% win rate.

Mana?no problem! Top

So,first talent pick,I always pick Infused Hammer.I know,Reverberation is very good, but Infused Hammer is the only thing keeping Muradin from going low on mana.Stay with me and you'll soon be not just refunding mana, but generating it!Take Reverberation if you're still unconvinced after reading to the end.

Let's get some health! Top

As for the second talent,I strongly recommend Third Wind.Muradin's trait is not that great without some extra help.Picking this and and Infused Hammer will keep both your health and mana high,so you will rarely find yourself in need of using the Hearthstone or a healing fountain. This becomes pretty obvious late game, when you've lost some of your fountains and you have to participate in teamfights. In case you just don't like Third wind,Sledgehammer is a good choice too.

STUNNING! Top

Third tier, always pick Piercing Bolt.Period.Using this talent, your Q will deal double damage, along with the mana gain from Infused Hammer.Very good for stunning two heroes at the same time(duh) or stunning some annoying guy hiding behind their gate or tower. Also you can throw a hammer while escaping to gain a couple of seconds to get away.If not,Landing Momentum is good for escaping or chasing, while Battle Momentum lowers your cooldowns. No use if you didn't pick Infused Hammer, since you don't have the mana to use your abilities.GO AND TAKE INFUSED HAMMER.

FOR KHAZ MODAN! Top

Arriving at level 10,my advise is,always go for Avatar, since it's a great movie. No really,I mean who wouldn't like to scare away his enemies by transforming from a drunk dwarf to an angry stone-skinned giant?Gain Health, stun your enemies, and lumber around the battlefield like a boss. The alternative is taking Haymaker, which is not so good.Yes,the damage is nice, but if it's not lethal, the guy is just gonna heal and come back, since you are throwing your target out of killing range!I really don't recommend it.

Shake the Ground! Top

Picking Thunder Strike at level 13 gives you considerable damage output.Excelent for damaging lone enemy heroes, bosses,Garden Terrors,Golems,Immortals,Punishers,Dragon Knights, and just about anything else daring to face you alone. In case the enemy team includes high damage heroes like Jaina,Kael'thas,Nova and if you feel like they know what they are doing, then take Spell Shield. It's pretty good.Whatever you do,don't take Healing Static.I personally believe it's not useful. But maybe that's just me.Just remember:This has been a very successful build for me.

HOP! Top

It may sound strange, because there are many good talents on this tier, but I really think Dwarf Launch is the best option,if only for the increased range. This is our dwarf's only escape route. Also,if you are chasing somebody, jump on their head, then use Thunder Clap, which does very nice damage if you've picked Thunder Srike. Then Storm Bolt the poor guy and finish him. This should do the trick.Use Avatar for escape if the enemy proves too strong or if his friends come to his help, and use your next Dwarf Toss wisely to escape. The other talents are pretty good too and I hereby allow you to pick them. They are good in this order:Imposing Presence,Stoneform,Give 'em the Axe! and the worst one is Heavy Impact(no offence to Heavy Impact users!)

Unstoppable.Literally. Top

The final pick,Unstoppable Force.Just click on it and roar:NOW I AM COMPLETE!The reduction of disables is very good, and you don't need anything else to survive a fight. To those people who take Haymaker,I recommend not picking it!But if you did it anyway, then go ahead and take Grand Slam. The other option for both my followers and the unbelievers,is Rewind, allowing you to deal much more damage or jumping out of trouble. You will have enough mana to pull it off, thanks to Infused Hammer.

Learn from the Master. Top

So here are a few tricks and strategies that I'm generously sharing with you.I'm just going to say these things without any order. If you are trapped by abilities like Devouring Maw or Gorge, first use Avatar upon being released, then jump.I've seen guys just trying to jump, and they usually get killed. If you are chasing someone and he goes too far, jump at his direction and throw your hammer, then close in.I've caught some very distant enemies this way.Do not use your Dwarf Toss for entering a fight unless you KNOW you will win that fight.Take your time for aiming with your Storm Bolt, because if you miss your team will probably lose the kill.If you are facing high damage heroes, get out of the fight when you drop below 50% health, because a simple stun can get you killed.Muradin is not very strong early game,so be careful. As for the late game, don't be careful.Your hero is a killing machine.Use Dwarf Toss the moment you see something like Precision Strike or Devouring Maw coming. If you abandon the fight and just jump RIGHT THAT SECOND,you'll make it.Stick with your allies and don't be afraid of tanking, because our drunk dwarf is a survivor.Throw a hammer while being chased,it will buy you a couple of second.Do not be afraid of Nova or Zeratul, use Avatar, then squash them.If you can "see" them while they are invisible(It's an art,you know),jump at them and use Thunder Strike, you will probably catch them.Jumping behind things like Pyroblast or Triple Tap will cancel them.Do not give up if you're being chased, maintain your distance by juking and using Dwarf Toss and you'll start healing like a monster.Ask for help, maybe somebody helps you. Also, use the battle beast mount. It's more apropriate for a Mountain King!

The Conclusion Top

My build has been very satisfying so far.I won't guarantee it being so great for you, since everyone has his own playing style. This is not a pure tank or maximum damage output build. It's meant to ensure your survival while allowing you to hunt down enemy heroes, not just goofing around and running from them.My average matches are like this:1 death or no death at all, between 30 to 40 takedowns, and second or third highest experience.Any adjustment to this build can ruin the balance,so I don't recommend it,except for picking Spell Shield at level 13.Just use this build a few times and see how it works for you.I may not be famous, but I'm not a rookie gamer.Again, please leave some feedback.I really want to know what you think about my guide. Also, you can check out the other guides and concepts I'm going to create,or take a look at my profile. My Battletag is Zeus.See you in the Nexus!
