My name is JDubb. Some of you may watch me on Twitch and have seen this build VERY often. This is the primary build I play with Valla.

I use this build in conjunction with what many people would consider aggressive Valla gameplay, so this build has not been played with a conservative Valla player and will likely not fit well with that play style.

Level 1: Cost-Effective Materials - Reduces the cost of Hungering Arrow by 30 Mana.

This build relies entirely on effective use of Hungering Arrow (Q). The reduction in mana cost for Hungering Arrow is a key component and should not be replaced.

Level 4: Puncturing Arrow - Hungering Arrow range increased by 25% and the number of times it can bounce to 3.

Puncturing arrow greatly extends the range of Hungering Arrow as well as adds a 3rd bounce of the projectile itself, adding a large damage increase. This is useful for many purposes.

- You can now reach most siege buildings out of range of attack when using Hungering Arrow to assist with lane push.
- With the increased range of Hungering Arrow, the dinstance between you and your target is less of a factor, and the use of effective Valuting can keep you well in range of Hungering Arrow for final shots and chase kills.

Level 7: Repeating Arrow - The cooldown for Hungering Arrow is reset when Vault is used.

The ability to reset the cooldown for Hungering Arrow with a Vault is the key to chasing down heroes for the final shot kill. You can also use this as a tactic to get multiple Hungering Arrows on a single target in a one on one fight. Shoot Hungering Arrow at them, vault to left or right, line up and send Hungering Arrow once more. By this time, you will have 6 Hungering Arrow strikes on a single target if you are alone, or if nothing else, you can insight some chaos with Hungering Arrows flying around in a crowd.

Level 10: Strafe - Cooldown: 50 seconds - Rapidly attack nearby visible enemies for 30 damage per hit, prioritizing heroes over minions. Valla is able to move and use Vault while strafing. Lasts for 4 seconds.

This is perhaps the one choice that can be either way. I choose Strafe mostly becasue of my aggressive gameplay style, I like to run people down using Vault and Strafe, and use Strafe to turn a gank or multi hero push back. Strafe is an effective ult that gets an immediate reaction from other hero's when they understand what it does and how it works.

Level 13: Hot Pursuit (Trait) - When at 10 stacks of Hatred, the Movement Speed bonus increases to 20% total.

At level 13 I choose to get a speed boost. This should be farily self explanatory as to why.

Level 16: Tumble - Vault gains an additional charge, allowing it to be cast twice in quick succession.

This is another key level choice for this build. The ability to get 3 Hungering Arrows off (9 total shots!) is pretty amazing. This ability with full mana can really do some damage in team fights and is also very effective on merc camps and siege targets as well.

Level 20: Vengeance - Strafe also fires penetrating bolts in a line for 7.5 damage every 0.25 seconds. or Fury of the Storm - Basic Attacks bounce twice to nearby enemies for 50% damage.

This is another level of your choice. I tend to work on lane pushing and contributing as much XP to the team as possible when I am not directly hunting or chasing someone down, and there are no active team fights going on. Vengeance just makes a more powerful ultimate, and Fury of the Storm is just a nice way to push lanes faster, burn down merc camps quicker, wreak more havoc in team fights, all while adding more XP to the team.
