Hi, my name is Sugimori! I have a Youtube channel, and a Twitch channel where I play some video games like Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft, and Overwatch mostly. I am and always have been an analytical gamer trying to discover the best builds, and hate playing the meta. In my opinion, if the enemy knows what I will build due to what the meta dictates then the enemy will have the advantage. Off stream I like to play games like Dota 2 as well, so I have no shortage of MOBA experience and many times inspiration comes from Dota as well. More guide stuff to come in the future.

Inescapable Death

This build is more of a team fight build revolving around your presence nearby enemies constantly applying Reaper's Mark to slowly kill them until you are in a close enough range to kill with your ultimate, Tormented Souls. This build revolves heavily on Reaper's Mark to slowly chip away at the enemy's health pool. You should be trying to apply it as often as you can to as many heroes and enemy mercenaries as you can, much like Lunara would with her poisonous autoattack. When you feel that the enemy has low enough health and is sticking around long after they are welcome, jump on them with Wraith Strike and cast Soul Rip to damage them and heal yourself, and follow up with Tormented Souls if need be.

Since Reaper's Mark does percentage-of-health based damage, he can do good work against a lingering warrior that might be a little light on damage. Your ultimate, Tormented Souls, works very well in team fights, especially in teams with a lot of crowd control (e.g. Devouring Maw or Graviton Surge)

Sudden Death

This build is my favorite way to play so far (and I would imagine many other players favorite way to play as well). This build works better as a way to gank an enemy that is all alone. It is mostly for quick burst damage that can bring an enemy down quickly like the traditional assassin type. Once you reach that 33% remaining health on the enemy it's all over.

As previously said, I will be updating the guide as I gain more experience with Malthael
