Intro Top

Rehgar is a master of his own element as a support class. He's a resto shaman seeking to serve the Heroes of the Nexus. He has the ability to heal an entire team with ease using burst single or group heals and can also cleanse heroes from stuns, snares and silence making him very unique as a support character. What he excels in healing he really lacks in the art of combat. I recommend using him to push a lane with another player because he's just too weak to really solo well early on.

Pros:
Quick burst heals
Provides aoe crowd control
Extremely high mobility
Can cleanse stuns, snares and silence

Cons:
Weak damage
No stuns
Can be slow to start if you're mana starved

The Build Top

Level 1

Spiritwalkers grace
Spiritwalkers Grace-This reduces the mana cost for your primary heal by 25 mana which is substantial early on. It not only allows you to stay in your lane more, but it allows you to jungle quite well to assist your teammates in getting those quick kills.

Level 4

Stormcaller
Stormcaller-Choosing this ability further reduces your mana cost for your two main healing spells making you much more efficient with your mana and it also extends the duration of your shield by 2 secs.

Level 7

Earth Shield
Earth Shield-This ability places a shield on your your target reducing incoming damage.

Level 10

Ancestral healing
Ancestral healing-Early on this heal completely heals a single ally, but later on it also servers as a group heal with incredible potential.

Level 13

Healing Surge
Healing Surge-This increases your chain heal by 25% but also allows you to heal 4 allies with that one spell. Most of the time we only think of healing players, but this ability really shows its usefulness when pushing your lane because it keeps your minions healed as well.

Level 16

Earthgrasp totem
Earth Grasp Totem is your only crowd control utility and this turns it from mediocre to incredible. Increasing your aoe slow can easily help wipe an entire team of heroes through combining your totem with your ally's ultimate.

Level 20

Farseer's blessing I recommend this. It gives you a great aoe heal and increases overall healing. I recently swapped from Rewind because I realized that it doesn't reset your ultimate at all, making it kind of null for me.

Tips Top

You can use lightning shield on your totem to deal massive damage to enemies.
Save your earth grasp totem until your enemy has around 20% hp, this will give you a chance to capitalize on some kills.
Use ghost wolf to catch low enemies trying to retreat.
Remember a well placed shield will absorb incoming damage and allow you to catch up on healing your allies up, so try to use your lightning shield on your tanks or whoever is taking the brunt of the damage atm.

Conclusion Top

I just started playing Heroes, but of all the builds I've tried for Rehgar I like this one the best. It allows me to manage my mana more efficiently and I don't have to sit in ghost wolf half the battle, granting me more uptime on heals. Rehgar is a phenomenal healer and has great potential as a jungler at around level 7. Remember that anyone can play a hero, but if you want to be the hero play what's comfortable and what you like best. There are several different ways to play, so I recommend to try out several different builds and see what you like best. That will help you to not only enjoy your hero, but be better at them too! I hope you enjoyed my guide. Thank you for taking the time to check it out.
