 Genji With Genji's high burst damage and mobility, it makes Murky difficult to land his attacks and pufferfishes on heroes.

 Lunara Same goes for Lunara, although she sees less play in the current meta.

Wrath of Murky Top

This Build used to be extremely powerful. Puffer fishes then received a nerf, causing it to do only 50% of the damage to buildings. But this build is great for Murky to be catching solo-lane heroes and shut them down quite easily. At lvl 16, Wrath of God brings Murky to a whole new level in terms of his Puffer fish. Octo-Grab paired with this is an old-school, yet effective combo. Simply cast the Pufferfish then Octo-Grab the enemy hero stunning them, forcing enemies to take damage from the Pufferfish. The lvl 20 talent simply increase the damage output of this combo, to secure kills faster.

Just beware of heroes like the Butcher who and heroes with high CC potential. Try to fill the lanes where your team is absent. And catch the low-health heroes escaping from team-fights.

Auto-Attack Murky Top

This build offers more team-fight contribution opportunities, as well as siege damage. Egg Hunt (lvl 1) grants map vision also mind games. This playstyle for Murky requires him to be in close range of the enemy. It is extremely simple, cast slime, auto attack, repeat. This is most effective against heroes like Diablo, Tyrael, etc.

Heroes with high burst damage and mobility may be a trouble for Murky. But this build (compare to the "Wrath of Murky" build) is better against CC heroes like E.T.C.
