@seBigBoss I see what you're saying for dampen magic. Most match ups ive been doing its been "hungry for more" but i do like the idea of dampen magic because you will be dealing with more then just the 2 and future heavy hitters. I like the regen devour gives but if you're down low it only gives to about half and that's with amp healing so i still prefer as such especially since it benefits from your supports to. The reason why i would disagree with not going it in favor of the others is because his vile gas does pretty well at clearing any minions at the basic no spec level. With last bite i read the new description it was just one i must've missed thank you for bringing it to my attention, but with that its also a 55 mana cost which getting topped off as so to speak can make you oom after a short amount of time. For the retching portion it seems nor more then ever so many heroes are getting huge wave clear talents so at this point you're taking away from your ability to tank for the possibility that a team will allow your retchlings to run rampant. Also i read your guide on Stiches sir/ma'am i liked it id be interested in playing a few matches with you sometime :)

@Daromith, one of the things about tanks is they shouldn't be building for damage unless theres more then 1 of them and my build is for a tank not a bruiser. Its more so to be done if its just you, ive seen to many times where tanks (Johanna being a big one) would just build for damage and fail every team fight miserably.

Hi, thanks on your reply! I played quite some Stitches now and I have to adjust my guide in some areas, I feel: I've been going Amp Healing and Tenderizer in some games and liked Amp Healing, but never found Tenderizer to be really helpful... I have to get a bigger sample size on savor the flavor, though. I just don't like it with a health-boosted Stitches - but it does combine well with Amp Healing, doesn't it?

The OOM part of topping off of a minion wave is quite right, but with the costs reduced in general, it feels alright in mid to lategame. I rarely go OOM without time to back and come back. Oh, and I absolutely learned how great relentless is... So the Retchlings (as much as I like them...) will possibly no longer be my single favorite pick - except when I'm with a Tyrande, Li Li, ETC and Butcher...

Thanks for reading my guide! (Yeay, someone did! :) ) I'll come back to the "playing together": What region are you on - I'm EU.

I think your evaluation of some talents for the new patch is not accurate:
  • Some pros did the calculations on Dampen Magic and while it sounds great, you only really benefit from it over Hungry for More if you consistently tank all the damage from Kael and Jaina combined.
  • While Amp Healing really has its point, your regen through Devour is so strong that I don't find I need it. With Vile Cleaver or Putrid Ground Stitches get's a very respectable wave clear since Vile Gas does quite some damage to minions which is even more important with my next point:
  • You misread the description of Last Bite completely: It's a 15 sec cooldown reduction and it is usable on any enemy - even minions. So you can Devour a minion every 5 seconds for a 20% hp heal. With Hungry for More, no healer can really keep up with your hp, but take a minion wave and 20 seconds of time and you'll be completely topped off from around 20% base.
  • While Relentless is good as ever, I feel that the added Vile Gas on the Retchlings is quite a big thing. So teamfight is over and you regen off a minion wave. Guess what, there are now 3-4 not that ineffective Retchlings pushing that lane. Win-win anyone?

What do you think about it?

Another thing as well is that the Retchlings do quite a bit of damage when combined with Last Bite, damage which Stitches' greatly needs.

^.^ I think people underestimate the power of regen master and amplified healing when you have a 100 health regen a sec and bile that heals you just back away come back and massacre some more. :D

wasn't a fan of stiches before but this builds was a blast you just never die and that late game damage and regen is so huge.

I pretty much use this talent set up but I've found Bolt of the Storm to be far superior. Don't get me wrong, regen bile is good but really you are looking at being healed for 250dmg (if my math is right).

Bile can be a pain to land if you charge in, easy if you snuck in the back of the team fight, so having the tp is damn useful to hop infront of a fleeing Nova or Valla and get them stuck in the bile as they escape, forcing them back into a team fight or to continue taking damage.

Bolt just gives more flexibility!

This is the same build I use. If I know and trust the healer I sometimes pick chew your food instead of reg master. Its quite nice to take a bite during a big fight and get that extra health at a time when you really need it. Great guide. Upvote. <3 Stitchie
