Introduction Top
Welcome to my Valla guide! I'll teach you the basics of learning and playing Valla; She is a high mobility ranged assassin that has a strong team fight, damage, and escape, currently she is one of the strongest Heroes to play. As I have said she has a good team fight and with her
Tumble she is good at avoiding focus, though a heavy CC team will shut her down (as with most Ranged Assassins or Assassins in general).
A Little About Me: Hi! I'm Kalaaver, and I'm a big League of Legends player and have Achieved some decent success there as I reached the Platinum Tier. I was excited to get into Heroes of the Storm and I was hopeful it would be different from other's MOBAs while keeping the basics. Well Blizzard nailed it and it has been one of the only MOBAs besides League to hold my interest and I plan on playing it for a long time.
No other MOBA held my interest besides League, Smite was fun, but I only play it now and then, didn't enjoy Dota 2 all that much and everything else is a carbon copy of League/Dota. But this game has hit a home run on the most important thing...addicting fun gameplay!
About Valla/Background:
Valla, the Demon Hunter, is an assassin hero from the Diablo franchise. She witnessed the ferocity of hellspawn firsthand as the demons ravaged her village and left her for dead. Now, with no people to call her own, her only allegiance is to her cause: to rid Sanctuary of the demonic filth corrupting its lands.
Valla strikes at her enemies from afar and gains hatred, increasing her move speed and basic attack damage. She can vault away if enemies get too close.

Pros & Cons Top
Laning Phase, Team Fighting, & Late Game Top
Lane Phase
The Early laning phase is all about poking with ability's and harassing with auto attacks. You want to push your lane hard and deal as much siege damage as possible, because of her damage and AS she can push the first base quickly. Once you have pushed that down, join your team and get mercenary camps. If you are the one getting harassed and poked, you will have to play passively and stay by your turrets. If the enemy is ganking your lane often do not push the lane or you will just feed the enemy team.
Team Fighting
Team fights are all about staying behind your tanks and being aware of your position. Think about the enemy's heroes and their ability's, again be aware of your position if one hero is near you and has long ranged poke you need to be aware of that and be ready to
Vault to dodge. The other part of team fighting with
Valla is using the ult of yours, when the enemy clumps up you hit your
Rain of Vengeance. Again be aware of your position, its easy to get locked down by CC or pulled in and be melted in seconds.
Late Game
Now late game is even more about positioning and being aware of where you are in a team fight then before. Because if you get caught or someone hits some CC on you it could end the game for your team, especially with 50 to 60 second death timers. Winning late game fights are critical to gaining the upper hand and considering you are probably one of the higher damage heroes on your team you want to be alive to help carry the fight. I'm going to repeat this for the millionth time because it's important, be aware of yourself and the enemy's around you, understand their ability's. Focus on keeping a distance from long range poke or CC heroes, and deal damage from the back at a distance. Look for opportunity's to ult as many of the enemy as possible when they group/clump.
Conclusion
Well that ends my guide, I will continue to update the guide. I hope this helps people who want to learn
Valla, so go out there and have fun! Feel free to leave your opnion and thoughts in the comments, thank you and good luck!
