The Lost Vikings (Rework)

Triple Trouble

The Lost Vikings are back! While they briefly considered retirement after defeating the emperor Tomator, there were only so many polar bears they could wrestle before falling into a Nexus portal seemed like a solid life decision.

The New Role System: Support!

[PASSIVE] When other Viking is nearby, each Viking gains 10 Armor, 50% Health Regen and earn plus 30% experience from all sources. Radius: 7 units.


* Olaf alone = 10 base Armor and 40% experience gain, Olaf + Baleog = Olaf has 20 Armor(10 base + 10 trait), plus 50% Health regen and 70% experience gain(40+30), Olaf + Baleog + Erik = Olaf has 30 Armor(10 base + 10 trait + 10 trait), plus 100% Health regen and 100% experience gain(40+30+30).

Hop into an Unstoppable Longboat that fires at nearby enemies for 112 damage per second and can fire a mortar that deals 250 damage in an area. The boat has increased Health for each Viking inside. Lasts 15 seconds.

Requires all surviving Vikings to be nearby.

Cooldown: 90 seconds

Special Mount

The Vikings gain 30% increased Movement Speed for 4 seconds. If all Vikings neither takes nor deals damage during Go Go Go!, its cooldown is lowered by 10 seconds.

TIER 1 LEVEL 1

1) Olaf the Stout - Every 5 seconds, Olaf gains 50 Physical Armor against the next enemy Hero Basic Attack, reducing the damage taken by 50%. Stores up to 4 charges.

2) Explosive Attacks - Increases Baleog's splash damage against non-Heroes to 100%.

3) Spy Games - After standing still for 3 seconds, Erik gains Stealth and his Sight Radius is increased by 75%. The Stealth persists for 3 seconds after moving.

4) Viking Hoard - Quest!: Gathering a Regeneration Globe with a Viking permanently increases all their Health Regeneration by 0.5 per second.

TIER 2 LEVEL 4

1) [Q] Heavy Belly - Olaf Charge removes Stuns, Silences, Roots and Slows from him.

2) [W] Double Sword - Add 1 charge to Baleog Throw.

3) [E] Fast and the Furious - Erik apply the bonus attack speed to all nearby Vikings.

4) [Z] Norse Quickness - Reduces Go Go Go! cooldown by 10 seconds.

TIER 3 LEVEL 7

1) Sabotage Proof! - If 2 or 3 Vikings take damage from same source(like AOE spells), the damage taken is reduced by 30%.

2) Impatience Is a Virtue - Enemies damaged by a Viking's Basic Attack reduce the cooldown of all Viking Abilities by 0.20 seconds.

3) Executioner - Attacking a Hero that is slowed, rooted, or stunned increases your Basic Attack damage by 30% for 3 seconds.

4) [Z] 64 KB Marathon - Gain an additional 20% Movement Speed when activating Go Go Go! that decays over 5 seconds. Additionally, the Vikings will break out of Roots, Stuns and Slows.

TIER 5 LEVEL 13

1) [D] Jump! - Makes all Vikings Invulnerable and able to pass over enemies for 2 seconds. Cooldown: 18 seconds

2) [D] Norse Force! - All Vikings gain a 150 to 300 point Shield, increasing in strength for each Viking alive. Lasts 4 seconds. Cooldown: 18 seconds

3) [D] Spin to Win! - Activate to have each Viking deal 200 damage to nearby enemies. Cooldown: 18 seconds

4) [D] Nordic Attack Squad! - Activate to have all Viking Basic Attacks deal bonus damage equal to 1% of a Hero's maximum Health for 4 seconds. Cooldown: 18 seconds

TIER 6 LEVEL 16

1) [Q] Large and In Charge - When Olaf charges enemies, they are stunned for 2 seconds.

2) [W] Shut Up! - If the Baleog's Sword Throw hit an enemy Hero, they are silenced for 3 seconds.

3) [E] Head Shot! - While Erik Launcher is up, each basic attack will reduces the enemy Armor by 5 for 5 seconds.

4) [PASSIVE-AURAS] Go to Hills! - Increase the passives auras effects to:
- Olaf - Allied Heroes gains 75% increased Health and Mana Regeneration.
- Baleof - Allied Heroes heals for 30% of damage dealt.
- Erik - Allied Heroes gains 30% Attack Speed and 25% reduced Basic Abilities Cooldowns.

TIER 7 LEVEL 20

1) [R] Ragnarok 'n' Roll! - The Longboat can attack two targets at once and the range of its Mortar is increased by 100%.

2) [R] Checkpoint Reached - Each Basic Attack against enemies Heroes will reduce the cooldown by 1 second.

3) [PASSIVE] The Sequel! - Reduces the Lost Vikings' death timer by 50%.

4) [D] Nordic Insistence - Reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds from [D]Jump!, [D]Norse Force!, [D]Spin to Win! and [D]Nordic Attack Squad!.

Rework Concept

My rework concept is focused in make the Lost Vikings more fit to team fight, less in a monster of soak.

The Current Vikings is able to get until 300% experience gain, by having 1 Viking per lane. This don't represent the Vikings essence from your game. In The Lost Vikings game they always work together, one helping the other in cooperation, and this is the focus in the rework.

Now TLV have a trait thats benefits to make the Vikings stay together and close around the teammates, giving armor and health regen. The "penalty" are the addtion of extra experience gain when Vikings are nearby, this will balance the experience gain to fill 100% when 3 Vikings are nearby, "collecting" the same experience amount from other heroes.

Each Viking has 40% experience gain by default. This will make the 3 Vikings will gain 40% individually, but this is 40% X 3 Vikings, totalizing 120% of experience gain in the battlegroung(1 Viking per lane), less that the current but more that other heroes, because this one "effect" don't are the essence from TLV.

With Vikings together they can be a great Support in the game, yours [PASSIVES-AURAS] grants some buffs to allies, stay close to allies to help them with Health Regen, or Damage Vamp or Attack Speed buffs, and the "micro manegement" now is the positioning right the vikings in the fights and around the team. Olaf will "tank" and slow the enemies, and Baleog and Erik will deal damage and the trouble. Now has some talents to help they when together.

This is TLV, the true Triple Trouble!
