4
Chromie A threat early on, but once you start building up the owl damage you can turn the tides late game.
5
Lunara This build is quite strong against Lunara late game as she is quite squishy and likes to remain at a distance, helping your owl's deal further damage.
6
Tracer If she gets on you, you are pretty much dead, but if you can land late game owls on her, you can at the least force her out of the way.
7
Genji His high mobility means he can dash in and out before you can effectively retaliate.
8
  No Threat
9
Alarak His silence and high damage can wreck you.
9
Zeratul High level threat with this build. He can burst you down in no time at all.
10
Valeera Very deadly. Do not go owl build vs Valeera.

3
Sgt. Hammer Your Lunar Flare will really help your team out against Hammer.
4
Li Li Stun her when she uses her Cups Ult. If she takes Water Dragon, stun any heroes advancing on the slowed target.
5
Diablo Not that much of a threat with this build. You can stun and mark him forcing him to flee. Just make sure you aren't the one being targeted.
5
D.Va With high stun stacks you can drive D'va players insane with high damage stuns every few seconds. Really good if you catch her out of her mech.
6
  No Threat
7
The Butcher Deadly if he is going after you, but you can time your stuns with his charge to help your teammate escape. Hit him with a Harsh Moonlight to slow him further.
8
  No Threat
9
Tracer Good luck landing a stun on Tracer. If you fluke one though, you can burst her down fast.
10
Illidan Highly mobile and a stun won't save you if you are caught off guard with no teammate to help you.
10
Valeera Remains a high level threat. Play with caution.

9
Alarak Alarak remains deadly. Don't let him get the jump on you.
9
Zeratul Still deadly. Stay away.
10
Valeera Top tier threat. Stay close to an ally that can handle her.

Chromie Very easy to kill with this build. Shadowstalk, stun, mark and auto attack. Dead in 2.5 seconds.
1
Abathur Has no chance against you. Look for his locust hunt him down and kill him with pretty much one stun and an owl. He will be forced to stay at his hearth, severely hurting his push game.
1
The Lost Vikings Another set of easy kills for you. Plus it will give you 3 targets to help build up your quest.
2

3

4
Kael'thas With this build KT is easy to kill if you get the jump on him with Shadowstalk.
4
Li-Ming Ambush, combo and kill quickly.
5
The Butcher Still a high threat until level 20 when you can seriously nerf his damage.
6
Valeera Less of a threat due to your ability to nerf her damage a lot at level 20, but you still need to watch out for her.
6
Illidan You can severely nerf his damage at level 20. You can pretty much win 1v1 if you ambush him and he has no back up, but until level 20 he is top tier threat.
7
  No Threat
8
Alarak Get the jump on him to nerf his damage and then get out before he retaliates and destroys you.

General Hero Overview Top

Tyrande has basically transformed into more of an assassin with the recent patch. Despite her class being listed as a Support, she should not be counted on as a healer. Instead think of her as a damage buffer/nerfer with a small heal to supplement her kit. Out of all the heroes, her talent picks are very dependent on both what your team needs and who you are facing in the enemy team. With this in mind, use the above builds as more of a guide and choose your talents according to your teams needs. Remember, you should not think of her as a healer. So if you are in Hero League or Team League and someone picks Tyrande, another player should pick up another support. Preferably one that can also dish out good damage such as Lili or Kharazim. Although this does not apply to every comp. She is a hero that requires a deep knowledge of the game and all the heroes to really unlock her potential.
Many new players complain that she is useless, but veterans will often cite how strong she really is. She is the most often banned character in high level play and has had a 60% win rate for a long time. So this should be an indicator of her potential on a team that knows how to fight alongside her. Below I will discuss her talents and which ones you should be picking.

Talents Top

Tier 1:

Ranger: Arguably her weakest talent at level one, there are not many comps you will face that makes this viable. Spamming owls later can work though against squishy comps and it does help when sniping enemies that are trying to escape.

Lunar Blaze: A good choice whatever game you are playing as long as you can land stuns regularly. Particularly good on maps such as Sky Temple and Braxis Holdout.

Ranger's Mark: Requires more aggressive play but it can really help boost your teams damage. It is a harder quest to work on and only really excels late into the game. Pairs well with Shadowstalk.

Tier 2:

Moonlit Arrows: A solid choice and a must if you are the only healer. Synergises well with Overflowing Light at Level 16. A good pick against a basic attack comp with little stuns.

Celestial Attunement: A very situational talent. Hard to really use effectively as most stuns wear off before you can respond with this, but is useful against stun lock combos. Take this if facing stun heavy comps and only if you have another healer on your team.

Kaldorei Resistance: A strong choice when facing Basic Ability damage dealers. If facing mages, always take this one.

Tier 3:

Huntress' Fury: Unfortunately both of the other options outshine this in every way.

Darnassian Archery: Only take this if your team is made up of primarily ability damage. Good for ambushing solo heroes though and works well with Shadowstalk and Iceblade Arrows.

Trueshot Aura: 90% of the time this is the number one choice. Especially good if you have allies such as Valla, Illidan, Butcher or Raynor on your team.

Tier 4:

Starfall: A strong zoning tool that can really help out during team fights, especially when contending an objective. Also this is the ultimate of choice if you are new to Tyrande.

Shadowstalk: Useful for escapes and in the hands of a good Tyrande player, it can be used to set up deadly ambushes and ganks on priority targets. Better for single target DPS.

Tier 5:

Quickening Blessing: You can't go wrong with this. A well timed heal can give you or an ally just enough time to escape.

Empower: Only take this if you took Ranger at Level 1.

Harsh Moonlight: An excellent talent that counters dive reliant assassins such as The Butcher and Illidan. Can be used both defensively to help fleeing allies and offensively to help slow down fleeing enemies

Tier 6:

Overflowing Light: Take this if you are the only healer and only if you chose Moonlit Arrows, but remember to keep your health above 60%.

Mark of Mending: Works really well with Ranger's Mark and allows your team to heal while attacking. Also allows Tyrande to solo any merc camp except bosses if she is at full health when she starts. A top tier choice.

Elunes' Chosen: Do not take this. 90% of the time Mark of Mending outperforms this.

Tier 7:

Eyes of the Huntress: Useful as it reveals the entire enemy team. Potentially every 28 seconds and can help set up ganks while preventing your enemies from doing the same.

Celestial Wrath: A very powerful talent that can allow your team to steam role in a team fight if you time this right. Try place half of it at the back of the enemy team to maximise it's potential.

Shooting Star: Not really used that often but it can create some interesting mind games. Plus the extra range on your basic attacks helps keep you safe.

Iceblade Arrows: Very powerful ability. Attack high damage heroes to limit the enemy teams damage. This ability can completely shut down a Butcher burst. Time with Shadowstalk and Harsh Moonlight to maximise its potential. If any enemy heroes are stupid enough to solo late game, this will let you 1v1 them and win.

Final Points Top

* Any heroes not listed in the above two categories you can consider as having an average synergy with Tyrande. As you can see she pairs well with a lot of assassins due to her trait, but some are better than others. Kerrigan, The Butcher and Jaina are my top three.

* Be aware that she is not a primary healer, if you are in a draft, keep this in mind.

* She can bring a lot to the team but you and your team need to capitalise on her trait when you activate it.

* She is one of the most versatile heroes in the game and can work in pretty much any team barring a few exceptions.
