This build focuses on using your Arcane Orb (with Ess of Johan) for CC and using teleport for mobility, escape and aggression. Knowing how to use your teleport at the right place and at the right time will be your key to success for this build.

2. Intro Top

Pros:
+High Mobility with Teleport
+Can easily escape out of trouble
+Capable of chasing down an enemy with ease
+High Damage Output
+Talents and Ultimate resets on confirmed kill OR assist

Cons:
-Squishy (This build will compensate for that)
-Difficult to manage mana

1. About Me Top

My name is Shacknu. I've been playing since beta, currently rank 1 in HL. I have most experience with assassins, mostly mages Jaina and KT.

3. Abilities Top


(Q) Magic Missiles
20 ManaCooldown: 3 seconds
Fire three missiles toward an area, each dealing 293 (153 + 3.5% per level) damage to the first enemy hit.


(W) Arcane Orb
50 ManaCooldown: 10 seconds
Fire an orb that powers up as it travels, dealing 271 (155 + 3% per level) damage to the first enemy hit. The amount of damage dealt is increased the further it travels, up to 813 (464 + 3% per level) damage.


(E) Teleport
30 ManaCooldown: 5 seconds
Teleport a short distance instantly.


(R) Disintegrate
80 ManaCooldown: 20 seconds
Channel a powerful beam, dealing 1168 (462 + 5% per level) damage over 2.5 seconds to enemies while they are in it. The direction of the beam changes with your mouse cursor position.


(R) Wave of Force
80 ManaCooldown: 20 seconds
Knock away all enemies from an area and deal 425 (168 + 5% per level) damage.


(Passive) Trait: Critical Mass
Getting a Takedown will refresh the cooldown on all of your Abilities.

4. Talent Breakdown Top


Astral Presence: This is probably the best talent to choose for any build. Increased mana regen when below half mana is VERY helpful, and lets you spam a lot of your moves.



Ess of Johan: This move is your CC. Very nice for interrupting, and can be combo'ed with teleport damage at level 7 OR get a disintegrate in when you have the enemy team packed together after landing an arcane orb.



Calamity: Very nice way to get some damage in offensively, also good for wave clearing.



Disintegrate: This is pretty much how you're going to be confirming kills as Li-Ming. Choose Wave Of Force if you're against a team composition that will dive on you.



Illusionist: Increasing your teleport range is crucial for this build. Increases both your survivability and chase potential when being offensive.



Diamond Skin: Gaining a shield drastically increases your survivability. And keep in mind that with Aether Walker you will be able to use teleport every 3 seconds so you basically get a shield literally every 3 seconds. OP much?



Tal Rasha's Elements: Just keep in mind that the cooldown for Q is shorter than Teleport and SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than Arcane Orb (3 secs Missiles, 3 secs Teleport, 10 secs Orb). So basic rotation would be:
W-Q-E-Q-E-Q-W-E-Q

5. Game Timings Top

Early Game (Level 1-9)
-Orb and Missile the **** out of those turrets! You can get one down very quickly, just be wary of where the enemy team is.

Mid Game (Level 10-19)
-This is where Li-Ming really starts to become a threat. Comboing an Orb that can pull with Disintegrate at 10 is very powerful and will help you confirm kills. You can escape or be more aggressive with Illusionist at 13, and Diamond Skin's shield at 16 will help with survivability a lot.

Late Game (Level 20+)
-By now Li-Ming has a lot of potential, and the added 20% bonus damage from Tal Rasha just makes everything so much better. Just make sure to not spam the same move over and over.

7. Tips and Tricks Top

General:
Just like Jaina, mind your positioning.

Teamfights:
Don't start off by using her ULT right off the bat unless you're trying to break contact.
Wait until one one of your opponents are low on health, and then pop the ULT to have your talents/ult reset.

8. Meta Analysis Top

Not much to say here, just treat her like a mage. Have fun!
