The reason I am asking is because I personally do not like Lv1 CP for Li Li since the laning phase is so short and you might end up collecting a total of 1 healing globe since either your allies get to it first, or you never just have the time to build up that bonus.
The nice thing about this game is. That there are more good builds. and not every talents works in every map, or every playstyle.
LV1 cp works wonders in a lot of maps that give you many health globes. think about the new infernal shrines map, or gardens or terror or haunted mines.
The terrors and mines golem drop multiple globes throughout the fight that stack up on your total. And most team fights happen in lane where the minions drop globes aswel. The new shrine map give you 2 globes every time you killed 30 minions to spawn a boss.
It's a less usefull talent on maps like sky temple. Where other then the boss on the map you will not get extra globes. And teamfights happen outside the lane mostly at the temples.
This talent is very strong when going late as long as you keep thinking about getting globes. Move from lane to lane to get globes from multiple lanes early game. And make sure to help with taking mercs where possible.
Although pro toss would be better when you have heroes like illidan in your team that like to jump in. You realy don't want to be in there with him.
Don't mean to be rude or something, but I think this is a common mistake people are making in HOTS, and now since launch I noticed it happening more often: they tend to forget too early about lanes. XP. It's crucial to have one man in every lane as long as possible, you outlevel your opponent and it matters when you later go for a camp or an objective. One extra talent can win you fights, ulti most of them maybe.
I'm maining supports, never enjoyed them in any other type of game, and LiLi was my first choice, I loved her playstyle and playing her with CP I learned to never miss the chance to pick a globe. When laning at first I always focus on the globe, then if only passing by a lane I kill the mage to harvest it and move on. So now I think I'm doing it by reflex on almost all the heroes I play, it helps a lot on my other support picks like Malfurion or Uther, even Tassadar when I'm the only support hero.
I'm by all means no expert though, I mostly play QM and got like 250 games, ~100 as support, excluding the AI games (wink). I'm also stoned af and wrote you a little story, I apologise for the late night tl;dr.
ChubbZ, keep up the good work man, I follow your Uther guide as well, I got some awesome plays with him <3
Awesome to hear that man! and I hope he didn't get offended was good feed back :D Hope things go great in the nexus for u :D

I have no previous MOBA experience, but I do love playing as Li Li. The build I've been going with has been
Lv 1 Pro Toss
Lv 4 Mass Vortex
Lv 7 The Good Stuff
Lv 10 Jug O' 1000 Cups
Lv 13 Hindering Winds
Lv 16 Herbal Cleanse
Lv 20 Storm Shield
With the Blinding Winds upgrades, you do get to blind and slow up to 4 opponent heroes which makes repositioning and chasing very difficult for them. A good Blinding Wind can win a team battle even before it starts like this.
The idea with Storm Shield is that you get an extra cooldown ticker and it is very powerful on its own right when used right before a team fight, followed by Jug O' 1000 cups making your team very hard to kill from the get go.
Since you're not going with Kung Fu Hastle, The Good Stuff becomes much more valuable than Two for One and since you are healing only one person, why not give him a speed boost as well to let them either escape death, or run down a fleeing enemy.
Obviously mana is a problem, but that's where mana conservation and battle flow awareness comes in. You don't die, but you do need to hearthstone back to base to replenish mana for the next team fight.
Until now I've never looked at guides, or what pro players did before, but a friend has been pestering me to do so and so here I am and would love to hear your thoughts. Have you tried this type of build? Or is the build in your guide significantly better in some way that I just haven't thought of before?
The reason I am asking is because I personally do not like Lv1 CP for Li Li since the laning phase is so short and you might end up collecting a total of 1 healing globe since either your allies get to it first, or you never just have the time to build up that bonus. Thus the same goes for Two for One, Li Lis healing power is not large to begin with and the good stuff amplifies this. It goes especially well together with Herbal Cleanse to really help a buddy out of trouble, almost no matter how big.
Where am I going wrong with these thoughts?
Interesting build, with your level 1 thing I suggest going Gale Force since your idea was to kite back with the team as you suggested earlier you will be close enough without the pro toss. My idea on pro toss is that it is very well with teams that dive in some sample heroes are: Illidan Sonya Johanna Kerrigan.
Potentially look into running Pitch Perfect with the build to see how you like it, as you said Mana could become an issue as level 1 CP I usually leave the laning phase or enter mid game with about 4-5 stacks which could be good enough to help siege with your team.
I agree CP does not help during a quick team fight where Pro Toss, and Gale Force can help. The topic about your Storm Shield I enjoy the idea and I highly suggest trying it out, It can become very powerful. Keep testing it out and see how you feel about them.
Your thought process is not incorrect they are very open which is a great thing to have in a game such as Heroes of the Storm. But the build in the end I suggest trying out is
1. Gale Force 4. Mass Vortex 7. The Good Stuff / (my suggestion: Pitch Perfect) 10. Jugs of 1,000 Cups 13. Hindering Winds 16. Herbal Cleanse 20. Storm Shield / (my suggestion: KungFu Hustle) <--- Only if you have more then 1 support such as Uther / Rehgar / Malf / Brightwing. Because Kungfu Hustle will help increase the damage output you provide.

I did get the Founders Pack a while back but due to some major things going on in real life haven't had much chance to dive into it, plus not knowing a lot of people that play I would in efect be playing solo most times. I have, however, been studying lots of guides on here and youtube and Lili has always been a favourite to watch. Now with this guide I shall certainly give it a go - excellent guide, Chubbs - thanks.
Thank you for the feedback man. Feel free to message me on heroesfire if you want any help :) sorry to hear things in real life are hard on you. I hope you enjoy the gameplay of Li Li man! Good luck!
