Li Li is very flexible when picking her talents but some combinations have better synergy, so lets see her talent trees and how they influence her behavior.
will be the one cast most frequently. Increasing its range with
Pro Toss is good for cautious beginner builds but keeping her as safe backliner is waste of potential.
Pitch Perfect to alleviates mana issues falls in the same category. But if your team style requires reliable healer, defensive panda fits such task.
The Good Stuff is top quality pick and adds nice HoT effect. Can be good in any build - even in Serpent if your comp has enough splash damage.
Two For One offers great healing potential and prolonged CD is usually compensated by picking
Kung Fu Hustle. A must for maxing
Li Li healing. The alternative
Herbal Cleanse offers superb utility - cleansing AND substantial speed boost. Its drawback beside losing healing potential is the requirement to master positioning so you control who gets that Brew. Good in any build against CC comps or if your team needs better mobility.
Heal builds based on this tree often include
Healing Ward,
Conjurer's Pursuit or
Jug of 1,000,000 Cups and are more conservative about approaching enemy heroes.
has good utility value and should be timed for best effect. uring laning it lets
Li Li approach enemies to collect regen orbs or attack them a few times without heavy injuries. Damage part is nice addition that may force early moonwell use. For best efficiency try to get more than 1 hero whenever possible.
Gale Force adds 50% to that, and though this hero isn't suited for DPS, is OK pick on fast maps (especially with
Conjurer's Pursuit nerfed. Lingering Bind prolongs blind effect by 50% and may be good against strong AA heroes.
Mass Vortex isn't that useful before team fight phase, but usually goes in pair with
Surging Winds. Their synergy empowers healing and damage and often includes
Kung Fu Hustle for perma buffed state in fights. Synergy talents are part of both pure healer and DPS builds.
Hindering Winds has good value not only for disengage but also for pursue in poke comps. Used in full Serpent builds.
Talents empowering the tiny drake can be part of various builds and usually fir aggressive styles. Taking this way,
Li Li won't end up as most powerful healer, but will be better suited to contribute to gaining XP in early game.
Timeless Creature is important part of any such build. Extra 4 sec often mean double effectiveness. By itself, drake is hardly worth its mana.
Mending Serpent changes a lot.
Li Li has way better sustain and is normally topped. Also, survival chances of initiators become higher.
Lightning Serpent ads nice splash but hybrid builds can do without this talent if comp has enough AoE.
Serpent Sidekick makes sure that aggressive
Li Li will have HP topped most of the time instead of having to choose when to use drake and when to lend. Nice skill but not a must.
