I don't want to make a long and big guide, but only share my current build with Thrall. I've been trying different things, and like most guides, I've first went for 'Oh big damaage' windfury-ish build. What I realized was, that you lose alot of survivability.

What I did was, I am skilling around the . Which is making me a self sustaining healer/dps as much as possible

For instance, if you get 1 Frostwolf Stack for every hit. Why skilling at level 4 makes sense, and aswell where your damage excel.

The same goes for Level 1 , where you get 3 Stacks, and for redution the CD by 50%.

I hope it highlights some of the potential this build has to offer.
