Strategy Top

This build focuses on doing a lot of damage with shadow dagger on the whole enemy group. This can make a single target healer's job be a real pain. Combining this with black arrow's slow and vulnerability can keep the enemy team in a permanent -10% slow and your main target at -25%.

By it's nature this build is really mana hungry so you want to keep Haunting wave uses at a minimum and try to get dagger's spreading to as many enemies as possible

Laning Top

Try to keep shadow dagger to use when an enemy gets next to the minion wave. If you use dagger on minions they may not get hit so instead throw it on them and let it spread to the wave after. Then unload withering fires either on their face or clear the wave if they back off. Try to use 1 dagger if you miss the health globe or 2 daggers if you get it and you should be around 60%-80% mana when an objective is up depending on the map.

Damaging/Escaping tactics Top

Almost all of your time will be spent throwing daggers at enemy heroes from max range and farming whatever is around them.

When contesting an objective stay back and try to delay the teamfight as much as possible. The longer the enemy team is in your range and not commiting the harder it is for them to commit at all.

After getting Life drain at level 7 you can consider trading damage. Spreading a dagger over a minion wave can regenerate around 30% of your max health, even in deep late game.

Since you will be skipping all defensive talents except Life drain I strongly recommend Bolt of the storm. Untalented Haunting wave can keep you alive early game but not after level 20.
You can also empower Wailing arrow but I only recommend this if you are more confident in your aim than me.
