About the character Top

I've been trying different builds with Lunara since she entered the Nexus. I'm just an average player, but I find it quite hard to stay alive with her, if the team doesn't have a support. Her range isn't that big to really stay out of trouble, so this can give a hard time to Lunara players. I think it takes practice to fully utilize her abilities. She's a very team dependent character. A healer can double or triple her hero damage by the end of the game.

I've made these builds based on my experiences with Lunara, and I hope you guys will find them useful.

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN! :)

Giant Killer Top

This is a really damage focused build. Giant Killer goes great with Invigorating Spores, as your attack speed increases with the ability. You can take down enemies quite efficiently with these talents. I believe both of her heroic abilities are quite good, but with this build, you have to get a little bit close to your enemies, so it's better if you have a way out with Leaping Strike. This is an ultimately good build if you have a pre-made team with support(s) and warrior(s).

PRO
- Great hero damage potential
- Chance to escape
- Many kills
CON
- Smaller range
- No protection against burst heroes

Unfair advantage Top

This is a good build, if you like to stay a little bit behind, or if the team doesn't have many front line heroes or warriors. Works also with Leaping Strike, but when you have a bigger range, it's less likely you'll need to jump away. And also there is Galloping Gait for that. With Wild Vigor and Unfair Advantage together you'll have a great amount of poison damage, but keep in mind that a healer (or fountain) can easily save a character with poisoned life pool. Or sometimes the hero can even Heart back to the base, cause the poison is kind of a slow death. On the other hand you can also have some bm kills, when the enemy has no choice but watch the slow death of his/her hero.

PRO
- Great hero damage potential
- Good chances when chasing a hero
- Bigger range
- Good with no warriors or front line heroes
- Poison damage on top
CON
- Harder to escape from crowd
- No protection against burst heroes
- Annoyingly surviving enemies

If enemy has Nova/Zeratul Top

When a hero with stealth is in the enemy team, you'd better prepare with a build especially against them. Natural perspective is a great way to make these heroes visible for a time. Both Nova and Zeratul are really good counters (especially Nova), as they have burst abilities with big damage, and are harder to notice in the middle of a team fight, thus it's harder to protect your little paper dryad against them. Greater Spell Shield and Leaping Strike are vital talents against these heroes. This way you have a chance to survive their first attacks, and jump away to a healing fountain as quickly as you can.

This build is also good against Jaina, Valla or any other burst heroes. Also keep an eye out for stealth abilities and talents, like Tyrande's Shadowstalk.

I think both Star Wood Spear and Invigorating Spores are good talents with this build. It depends on the player which playstyle to choose.

PRO
- Chance to escape
- Protection against burst and stealth heroes
CON
- Little bit lesser hero damage
- Smaller range if you choose Invigorating Spores -- but faster attacks at the same time

Bigger range Top

Bigger range build is very similar to Unfair Advantage build. The only difference with this build is that you'll even have a bigger range for your Q. It's really good if you prefer to stay behind or when the team doesn't have any warriors or front line heroes.

PRO
- Bigger range
- Good with no warriors or front line heroes
- Tons of assist -- also many kills, but there'll be more kills with Giant Killer
- Good chances when chasing a hero
CON
- Harder to escape from crowd
- No protection against burst heroes
- Little bit lesser hero damage
