Be a REAL tank. Top

This build allows Muradin to essentially take on forts and most merc camps by himself, with gusto. While also taking a beating and passively slow enemies while his teammates systematically eliminate their sorry ***es.

1. Infused Hammer
-If you choose anything but this, Muradin is pretty mana starved the entire match, now you can cast Stormbolt practically for free.

2. Sledgehammer
-Not only is Stormbolt now nearly free for Muradin to use, you now dish out massive damage with it towards mercs and enemy structures, also crippling the ammo supply in the process.

3. Battle Momentum
-Now you cast Stormbolt for cheap, inflict super damage on mercs and structures, and now you're decreasing the cooldown timer significantly on this ability which costs you nothing to use. If you're hammering away at an enemy fort, the fort is practically dismantling itself for you since you're causing so much damage in so little time on it.

4. Avatar
-This one can go either way, if you want to pile up more damage to the already massive amount you're doing, you can go with Haymaker. However, if you think you'll be taking a fort without an enemy hero or 2 coming to take you down, think again. This is why I chose this build with Avatar. Get that extra HP in to beef you up against fort defenses and enemy heroes, at this point you're like a Boss merc albeit doing way more damage.

5. Burning Rage
-Burning rage will burn anything near you, including enemy structures, so even when you're not attacking...you're attacking. This also helps with pesky minion waves that stop to take you down, throw down a single thunderclap while you have burning rage on and turn those minions to dust in just a couple seconds.

6. Imposing Presence
-This seems to me like a very under-used ability. Having this is a HUGE advantage since minions, enemy mercs and heroes all have their ******** ATTACK SPEED SLOWED BY 50% when attacking you.

Ex: You're taking on a fort by yourself (which one would rightfully say, don't do) with this siege build and all of the sudden 3 enemy heroes come to gank you, you ping the map for a little help, and your teammates are on the way. All 3 enemy heroes are attacking you at 50% their normal speed, you pop it into Avatar mode so you have just enough time for your teammates to get there and rip them to shreds because they're on YOU and are essentially putting out half the damage they normally do, **** YEAH. Now get back to slamming your big dwarvish **** all over that fort, because who needs a ****ing healing fountain when you're Muradin?

7. Unstoppable Force
-Now arguably at this point in the game you're already an unstoppable force of absolute destruction, however this gives you just a little more edge, a longer time that you have your HP buffed, and any disables are cut down by 75%, so essentially you're quickly shrugging off enemy slows, stuns, and roots; because at this point you're a behemoth and you ain't got time for that ****.

In conclusion

-Don't forget to use thunderclap, that's extra AOE damage that slows enemies and doesn't take up a lot of mana.

-DO NOT use dwarf toss in this build unless you are escaping or jumping in to take mercs!

-Lastly, while this build is good for essentially any map, it's most effective use is on those maps which you have to destroy mobs to gain the upper hand on an objective.

Early Game / Mid / Late Game Top

Early Game

-Dominate and push a lane, focus on xp until you're able to grab SledgeHammer at level 4

-Once you have SledgeHammer you can start harassing enemy forts by getting close, using stormbolt on a tower, then backing off until the cooldown timer runs out, and repeat. This tactic, in combination with waves of your minions, will quickly exhaust the ammo supply of the tower, as well as do significant damage.

-Upon acquiring Battle Momentum, you can now start pushing the fort(s) more aggressively. You should easily be able to come at a defense gate from the side (ensuring only 1 tower can attack you and not both), and take it on quite easily. You will be able to cast Stormbolt much more frequently, thus obliterating the enemy tower. After taking out a tower, back off and let Muradin's 2nd wind ability kick in to heal you before jumping in to take the other tower down.

Mid Game

-Grabbing Avatar ensures more time in the fight, getting that extra health to finish a job and then getting to safety, or assisting mercs/bosses at a defense gate. You could grab Haymaker if you really wanted to, increasing your damage output, you just have to be very weary of your health bar. In the end using Avatar allows you to push through a lane more aggressively and successfully.

-Once you get Burning Rage, you're pretty much destruction on 2 legs. Just push, push, push, you're a pushing machine now. When it comes to taking down enemy Castles, you can start to harass it with a stormbolt shot to reduce it's ammo, or just attack with a minion wave/boss/mercs so that you're not the one getting slowed from the Castle attacks. Make sure to keep out of range of the defense tower that's guarding the castle, and make sure to hit that castle with Stormbolt as often as possible!

Late Game

-Imposing presence is quite literally one of Muradin's coolest abilities. Enemies attack you at half speed, this is good for a team battle where you lead the charge, or escaping a gank while your in the midst of attacking a fort. When you get this ability it greatly helps in team fights as well as escapes, there is essentially no downside to having your enemies attack slowed, great offensive and defensive ability to grab.

-At this point you should be plowing through whatever is left of the enemy forts, and get to work on the core. This build will attract a lot of heat from the opponents at this point, since if they're paying attention they'll be on to you, and make you primary; so make sure you have some good backup and the extra "umph" with Unstoppable Force!

-TAKE DOWN THAT CORE AND WIN LIKE A BOSS!!!
