Just commenting to say that this build, to me, is a pretty solid build for Sylvanas.

I began playing just over a week ago and bought Sylvanas to use, I've tried a couple suggested builds I found, but I find that I'm not as effective with the others as I am with this build, but then I also prefer good teamplay over competetive 1v1 or something...in any game really so it works for me.

I also have found that in most (but not all of course) games, I've usually got the lead with Siege Damage and XP at the least...I have had a few (lucky I guess) games though where I actually had the most kills, assists, siege, hero damage and XP gained at once hehe

Anyway, as mentioned, for me, this is a pretty solid and decent build for my Sylvanas plays, thanks for sharing.

I just wanted to say I love this build. Also the disclaimer gave me a chuckle:
"I would like to state now that this is not a 1v1 "Who's your God now?" build. This is a teamfighting build that also has great defending, pushing, and chasing potential. If your soul purpose to to stretch your E-Peen on the stats board then look for another guide. However, if you want to win games, keep reading."

I have won many games with your build, BUT the other aspect is reliant on a good team that actually works together instead of just stretching their own Epeen (overextending and dying/feeding many times, focus so hard on killing heroes they don't do objectives and tell us to eff off when we remind them -.-). I play with my boyfriend and we have great synergy, but sometimes we get stuck with overextenders that die often, or people that peace out at a team fight we should have won. I suggest teaming with people that play well with others instead of trying to get the highest takedowns. It's like okay congrats they soloed all those takedowns but we still somehow lost, care to tell me why lol.

When it comes to defending and clearing waves of minions, I instead took Fury of the Storm for those who were concerned about Unstable Poison. In about two buttons all the minions are gone, catapult dead and their Bruisers/Ogres are dead by the time I spam Withering Fire. I can literally defend base myself for as long as I want.

I get mad when I play support and the Sylvanas on our team runs AWAY from turrets when the lane is empty because enemies are all dead. I'm like wtf the forts and turrets should be the last of your worries. And honestly everytime I play against a team that includes the 1v1 Hero Damage built Sylvanas. I laugh at them in team fights because congrats they can run away fast and chunk out only one target per minute. Especially when they don't even have Cold Embrace and I do, I'm like oooooh I almost feel bad for them because your whole team is getting this vulnerability quite often, and will be slowed when you do try to run. I notice once Vulnerability is applied, the other team scrambles to run away but are slowed.

All in all, that's my breakdown of your guide/build from the many games I've played as Sylvanas. I've had people on my team that look at these talents and ask "do you even know how to play her" or try to say "omg you built her wrong" and I'm like well it's gg now that you said that, because apparently I'm stuck with the 1v1 focused noobs that can't even teamfight and are sourpusses. And it turns out to be true; those types will certainly gank someone as a group when alone and brag about their hero damage, but they will flee if it's an all out 5v5 brawl with everyone at full health. Like I said, with good teams that aren't here to stretch their epeen, you will do good. Positive attitude and working as a team is what gets mathch wins, not ganking one person at a time.

Your comment is a huge nonsense, I must say. What's the point in adding to a guide that your team must be good, instead of just you? Isn't that like... Obvious, and always true? Not to mention that bashing on other builds is wrong on many levels, because if it's not ranked, they might just be experimenting, or even if it's ranked, they may have created a strategy, and the build is there to complement a specific team strategy. Maybe their team composition relies on them bursting one of you guys quickly, so Sylvanas built single target burst spec, accordingly. It's one thing to support a guide for what it stands for, but it's a completely different thing objectively compare it to other guides, which may be focusing on a completely different aspect of play, because there are many ways to play a hero, not just one. Seems to me this comment of yours is your own way of boosting your e-****, having in mind all those "omg look how you play Sylvanas, I play her so much better, and my build is the absolute right one!". Think about those things when you post **** like this again. Just to clarify - the stuff you said about your own team having to be good is not nonsense, but the context makes it pure ****, because this is not the place for such observations.

And just by the way... Even if the other Sylvanas is bad, ever considered it's a new player, or just one that's playing extremely casually, just for some fun, or a kid? You're complaining about all those e-peen-boosting guys out there, and laughing at people who might be playing worse than you? Notice the irony?

hey man

i have been playing Syl for most of my games now and i consider to be good with her, i found a build i truly loved but i realized that there is more then one build out there.

so i came across yours and at first i have to be honest i had little faith in the paralysis and overwhelming affliction but you know i had to deal with this and try it out and the truth is i actually love it!!!

i am not a fan of the life drain tho it does work well i wont deny that but i feel it affects my play style and i have swain towards unstable poison i feel it does more. i was a bit set off with lost soul at first but i read through the comments and i agree with the following

''If you think about it, Lost Soul reduces the cd by 20%, which ends up being significant late game. That's a huge increase on the uptime for vulnerability and the slow. I used to take With the Wind myself, but I feel like that is only good if you intend on grabbing all talents associated with Withering fire like Splinter Shot and stuff. The more you invest in WF, the less you can invest in improving Shadow Dagger, which is the only ability that can let you stun, slow, and give vulnerability to the whole map.''

now my thoughts are as follows if i take this build and change one aspect of it that being the life drain to unstable poison will my success rate drop or increase?

im looking at it from a clearing wave perspective could u guys give me some insight :)

thank you in advance :D

I tried this build, it's decent. Though, I honestly like the things I choose for her. It could have also been because of the opposing Heroes and that my teammates weren't exactly the greatest. I found myself having more of a damage output with the build I have for her. It did help me tweak some things in my personal build. Upvoted. (:

I think you might need to relook at Possession, as it has now become much more viable as a talent. Not only can Sylv take an entire wave of minions over in just a few seconds, but those minions are considered defeated; you get the XP as if you killed them, and any drops they have (regen globes from the wizards, crystals from the spiders on Tomb of the Spider Queen drop as well. I watched my friend play a game where he used that ult on Tomb. When he got it, they were 3 levels behind. Using that he repelled all the minion waves, and started pushing bottom solo.

His team came back and won.

Started playing 7 days ago, I been using this guide for 1 day. Confirmed OP as hell, strong late game team fight. But you have to play conservative, I usually tag team with tanks! he soak up the POKE while you dishout CC + DAMAGE. I have read other guide from Severage and Jaeris, here the problem...

Jaeris great guide: IMHO lack of damage, even with Envenom, with no CC...
Severage another guide with Q being the main damage dealer, lack of Pushing power, again no CC...

This guide I would say is the best by far. Bring alot of team synergy to help you win game, you can shoot for top DAMAGE or STRUCTURE with this build any map any game UP VOTE CONFIRMED!

I agree to this, this is not a build for someone who is either new to the game, or new to Sylvanas. It's heavy emphasis on team work, peeling and chasing for your team, and increasing damage for them while still being able to do normal Sylvanas things.
