Hi,

First off nice start of the guide. Well done. I hope to see it develop in the future. I also took Even In Death as my go to talent at 1, and after Auriel is released she will synergies well with it as well. Here are some notes on your builds.

Melee Bruiser:

Basically you are using a slight variation of the old AA Tyrael build. It wasn't good before. It is very slightly better now.

First off your level 4 talent Vigorous Strike provides way too little healing to be wort it. You get 23 health per attack at level 4, and 42 at level 20. For a hero that will be fighting at the front-lane or diving the enemy back-lane this is useless. If the other team wants to kill you, 42 health won't make a difference. Besides Vigorous Strike is designed for range assassins, that can keep attacking at full speed from a safe distance. As melee bruiser Tyrael can never attack at full speed, unless his target has no idea how to kite, or run away.

Searing Attacks is mostly useless talent, even on a range assassin. And it was designed for range assassins. Tyrael is not only melee, so you will never manage to hit for the full duration, but also he has high attack speed with low damage. For Searing Attacks you want high AA damage. Let's assume that you somehow manage to attack at full speed, for the whole duration. At level 7 you pay 90 mana to deal 309 extra damage. For reference Reciprocate gives you 263 damage in an area, for free. At level 20 you get 510 extra damage for 90 mana, and Reciprocate deals 438 damage. Even after the removal of Angelic Momentum and the lowering of ability mana costs, Tyrael can easily run out of mana in longer fight. It's not wort skipping other level 7 talents, for one, that forces you to spend 90 mana, for mediocre damage.

Also I don't understand your level 16 talent Holy Ground. It is mostly a tank talent, and on a bruiser it will put you way out of safe position. Yes it lets you steal camps and block heroes, but not taking Blade of Justice on AA bruiser build, costs you way too much damage, to be worth the utility.

Lastly Angel of Justice is not nearly as good talent as the rest in the tier. Shaving off 40 seconds is nice, but the range bonus, can put you in danger more often than help you. You will get much more by using Nexus Blades for pure damage and more important the slow. Also you have no defensive talents at all so without Hardened Shield, you will be way too easy to kill.

In all my testing and experience, if you want to play AA Tyrael, your best bet is to go for Swift Retribution at level 4 and Angel's Grace at level 7. Those 2 talents will give you great mobility, and increase your uptime, so you actually can hit enemies all the time. You also get utility for both you and for your team.

Ability Bruiser:

Obviously this is a composition based on, Reciprocate and Burning Rage, with Judgment as heroic, so you can initiate, and Even In Death as your "worst case scenario" game-changer. I have tested more than a few of those builds.

As with the Melee bruiser, Vigorous Strike and Holy Ground, don't make much sense.

The way this build can be actually viable, is if you manage to stay in combat as long as possible, so
Reciprocate and Burning Rage can do anything meaningful. Here is the thing about Even In Death. Naturally you don't want to die at all. But just in case you do, you take enemy hero/es with you, or at least deal huge damage to them, and let your team mop up the battlefield. So the proper way to use Even In Death, is to first realize, (in the middle of the fight), if your team can win, without loosing heroes. If no, than you must make sure, that Tyrael is the first (and only!) one to die. And in the process you must make sure, to soak all the damage, you possibly can.

Since you have basically no defensive talents in this build yet again, as soon as you dive with Judgment, any coordinated team will blow you up in seconds. That defeats the purpose of having Burning Rage. 1 or 2 defense talents can help to keep you alive, and let your team win the fight, without you having to die and use Even In Death in the first place. If you know you will die anyway, you want to do as much damage as possible, and soak as much damage as possible.

Your best bet is to take Amplified Healing at 4, so your team healer can keep you alive. Since you will be the main target, and healing you is his job, you will make both your and his life much easier. Also Blood for Blood at 16 can both help you soak more damage, as well as drain their high-health tank. Hardened Shield might just be enough, to force the whole enemy team, to burn all their cool-downs on you, without killing you. And even if they do, their whole team will be damaged, and defenseless after it.

As I said am glad someone noticed the changes Tyreal got, and devised couple of cool builds, based on the new talent tree. Hope you keep this up to date. Again great job.

Good luck and see you in the Nexus :)

O.K. I appreciate the feedback. I'll try some of these out.
Just as a note for the Angel of Justice it shaves off 40 seconds from an 80 second ult. I still think it's worth it to be able to open with it all of the time. Just my opinion though. I still leave it up to the players on how to do the build.
Typically I can kite all of the other heroes with no problem, but I'll test out these changes you've suggested.
