Valeera Stabby Stabby Stabby build and combo guide by CrazyCRO Top

Vallera excels in killing low to mid HP range heroes.
She is amazing for killing backline assassins or disrupting key team fight heroes.

In this guide we will go thro:
Basic burst assassin tips
Build guide
Combo execution per level and talent tips tricks

Basic burst assassin tips: Top

As a burst assassin you have a limited amount of burst damage, and that damage has to secure a kill.
Because of that when learning a hero you want to know what is the max amount of burst damage the hero can output per talent level.
The easiest way of geting to this numbers is to go into Try Mode.
You want to set your hero levels from 1,4,7,13,16,20 and on each of these levels do your burst combo on the target dummy.
Write this numbers down!

So how will you now if your damage is enough to kill a opponent joust by looking at him?
Did you notice the small squares and dividers on your and opponent's health bars?

Every square represents 250 Health Points
The stronger line/divider between sets of 4 squares represents 1000 HP

So if you see your opponent's health bar with a stronger line divider and 2 squares it means the opponent has
around 1500 HP

Build guide: Top

This is a good all around build vs low to mid hp targets.
It emphasise a combination of burst damage, crowd control, damage over time, auto attacks, survivability and escape options.
The build is good vs heroes that have spell armor stacks (example: Li-ming force armor lvl 1 talent) because of the poison damage over time effect and auto attack damage.

Vallera has the 3 highest HP from all of the melee assassins in the game.
Great engage and disengage options.
With a ultimate that makes her almost unkillable.
So don't be afraid to stay, fight and use you'r auto attacks.
The biggest mistake i see Valeera players do is: Combo and run away without using auto attack.

LVL 1 talent Subtlety Top

LVL 1 talent Subtlety

After using Valeera's trait and going Vanish you are ready to do your combo and damage.
Most times after the combo you spend your 100 energy and are left standing in the middle of a fight without the option to escape or follow up with another skill.
This is where Subtlety fixes that problem.
It gives you 50 energy or joust enough energy to have your Sinister Strike ready or a full 3 combo pointsEviscerate to finish your target.

LVL 1-3 Combo and Sequencing Top

In your combo you have 3 options:
1. Burst damage without Crowd Control (stun,slow...) Ambush
2. CC Stun with lower Damage output Cheap Shot
3. Soft CC Silence and higher damage output over time Garrote

Using the right opener
Ambush, Cheap Shot or Garrote
will determine if you will be able to get a kill, be able to escape or follow up with auto attacks or other abilities.

In the beginning this combo list will look overwhelming but you will be coming to this list again and again after playing Valeera for some time, and searching for small details to perfect your play style.

*To be able to play Valeera effectively, fast and precise you have to set your Quick Cast settings to ON for this hero! *
*You can do this by going into Options, Hotkeys, Quick Cast Settings*
*In the drop down select Valeera and set all the basic abilities to ON*

STUN ESCAPE COMBO - ( D W W E Q + ) Stun with low damage and option to follow up or escape 530+DMG

- Vanish
-wait 5s for Subtlety to prepare
- Cheap Shot stun the target for 1.5s
- Blade Flurry do AOE (Area Of Effect) damage to the target
-Eviscerate for 2 combo points
- Sinister Strike to escape or follow up with auto attacks or 2 Q

Use this combot in the lvl1 mid lane brawl to set up a kill with your team, and have a escape if things go wrong.

STUN BURST COMBO - ( D W W Q E ) Stun with high damage and no option for escape 750+DMG

- Vanish
-wait 5s for Subtlety to prepare
- Cheap Shot stun the target for 1.5s
- Blade Flurry do AOE (Area Of Effect) damage to the target
- Sinister Strike to get the 3 combo point
-Eviscerate for 3 combo points and do high damage

Use only if you have a team with a hard engage that won't leave you to die alone.
Keep in mind that since you don't have enough energy to instantly Eviscerate there is a small delay before you get enough energy to use Eviscerate.
Use that time to auto attack or stop the combo sequence.

SILENCE ESCAPE COMBO - ( D E Q E Q + ) Silence with high damage over time and option for escape 900+DMG

- Vanish
-wait 5s for Subtlety to prepare
- Garrote silence the target for 2s and apply high poison damage
- Sinister Strike to get the 2 combo point and close the distance between you and the opponent
-Eviscerate for 2 combo points
- 2 Sinister Strike to escape or follow up with auto attacks

Option to do high damage but requires a bigger chase distance.
Use this combo if you are going for a kill or when trading on a lane to lower the opponent's HP
Since the silence does not stop the opponent from moving you need to use Q as a gap closer before you E or you will miss your W
You can use W instead of the gap closer Q but then you should come close behind the target with your opener and body block his escape route so he has to run thro you and stay in range of W

SILENCE BURST COMBO - ( D E Q E Q + ) Silence with high damage over time and no option for escape 1160+DMG

- Vanish
-wait 5s for Subtlety to prepare
- Garrote silence the target for 2s and apply high poison damage
- Sinister Strike to get the 2 combo point and close the distance between you and the opponent
- Blade Flurry do AOE (Area Of Effect) damage to the target and get the 3 combo point
-Eviscerate for 3 combo points

Option to do high damage but requires a much bigger chase distance with no option for escape.
This is a early all in go for the kill and pray.
Keep in mind that since you don't have enough energy to instantly Eviscerate there is a small delay before you get enough energy to use Eviscerate.
Use that time to auto attack and chase.
No runing away! It's kill or get killed.

TIP! Blade Flurry generates a combo point for every target hit up to 3
You can eviscerate with 3 point earlier if you get a good W.

Note! I start writing Q W E D instead of the full name of the ability because at that point you
should already now what the basic abilities and the vanish opener abilities do.
