Abathur No direct threat. Just be careful of his mines when you are low health.

Azmodan No real threat. Interrupt his All Shall Burn with your Displacement Grenade.

Brightwing Poses no threat to you as you shouldn't be in range of her Polymorph.

Li Li No threat whatsoever during teamfights.

Lt. Morales You will both be in the backline healing your team and Morales 1v1s are very rare.

The Lost Vikings If they go for longboat, stay far enough away from them until it ends.

Gazlowe Not much of a threat as you shouldn't be any where near him anyway. Just watch for his Grav Bomb.

Malfurion Be careful of roots when you are running away.

Chen Can force you out of a fight with Wandering Keg. Be prepared to interrupt his drinking with your Displacement Grenade.

Diablo He shouldn't be too much of a threat if you have good positioning but his Lightening Breath can force you back away from your team.

Kharazim The only threat he has is Seven Sided Strike which is only significant when you are by yourself (which you should never be).

Rehgar Can chase you and delay your health regen if you are found out of position.

Sgt. Hammer Just stay out of her range. Use your Grenade to ruin her positioning.

Tassadar Not too much of a threat but be careful of his Force Walls. You could easily be trapped by one.

Uther You shouldn't find yourself near Uther anyway. He has no way of disrupting you or dealing meaningful damage.

Falstad Can chase you easily if you are found out of position. Be careful of his Hinterland Blast.

Rexxar Watch out for Misha's stun. Rexxar will feel comfortable sending Misha into your team to try and kill you.

Sylvanas Watch for her silence. If you're being chased and are silenced, you won't be able to use your Grenade. Keep a safe distance.

Tychus Use your Grenade when he starts Overkill. Also Laser Drill can deal tons of damage to you if your not paying attention.

Valla Make sure you are not in a position where she can deal lots of damage to you. She can chase you easily due to her movement speed and Vault.

Zagara Be careful of her Hydrolisks, they can deal lots of damage if they are not killed early. Also watch for Maw as it could be the death of you.

Arthas Not much of a threat as he has no mobility to catch up to you. Just be careful of his root.

Cho Shouldn't cause you too many problems as you will be far away from them. If they dive you during a teamfight, tell your team to collapse on them.

Johanna Can walk straight into your team and force you out. Wait until her Iron skin has faded before you use Displacement Grenade.

Leoric If you get caught in a good Entomb, your most likely dead. Watch his respawn timer to make sure he doesn't respawn directly behind you.

Sonya Will most likely dive after you every fight. Use your grenade after she has use Ancient Spear.

Tyrande Careful of her stun as it has a very long range.

E.T.C. Watch for his Mosh pit if he Powerslides into your team. While he is channeling, knock him back with your Displacement Grenade.

Lunara Can chase you endlessly. If she jumps over you, use your Grenade immediately to push her into your team. Apart from that, you can mitigate most of her poison with your passive regen.

Muradin He can dive into your team and force you out. Make sure you avoid his stun and stay behind your team.

Nazeebo Make sure you aren't caught in his Zombie Walls. Keep at a safe distance.

Stitches Be careful of his hook. Stay behind your tank at all times. If you get gorged, Medvac as soon as you can to get away.

Thrall Knock him away when he uses Wind Fury. He won't be able to heal off you as he will be too far away. Be careful of his root though.

Anub'arak Can dive into your back line and zone you out of the fight. Make sure you team is there to protect you.

Artanis If you are doing your job as healer correctly, you will have a Purifier beam on you in every teamfight. Also stay out of his Phase Prism range.

Greymane Can dive you during fights. Kite him back into your team as he has no sustain to keep him alive.

Jaina Can destroy you with her burst damage. Keep at a distance.

Kael'thas If he lands a Gravity Lapse, you are almost always dead. Keep at a distance.

Kerrigan Will dive you every fight. Knock her away when she is about to use her combo.

Raynor Always take Advanced Block at tier 2 if the other team has a Raynor. He has increased range so he can damage you from the safety of his own team.

Zeratul After the recent nerfs, he isn't as much of a threat as he used to be. Still be prepared to use Safeguard whenever he opens on you.

Nova As soon as she opens on you, safeguard to mitigate 25% (50% if you took inoculation at Tier 6) of her damage. Always be on guard when she is alive.

Tyrael 9 times out of 10, he will Judgement you during teamfights. Make sure your team is there to defend you.

Illidan Will stick to you every teamfight. Stay near your tanks at all times until he is dead or forced back.

The Butcher Every time Butcher charges you, use all your damage mitigation, spam ping for your life and hope your team notices you.

Introduction Top

Lt. Morales is a ranged support with a huge amount of sustain heals and great damage mitigation. She cannot heal herself meaning you need very strong positioning to be able to heal and stay safe at the same time. Your goal in every teamfight is to heal your allies and stay safe from the dozens of melee assassins that are literally dying to kill you. Her abilities are all focused on aiding allies and keeping herself alive.

Strengths:
[*] Very high sustain heals thanks to Healing Beam.
[*] Great damage mitigation with Safeguard
[*] High passive health regeneration from Caduceus Reactor
[*] Two situational and viable herioc abilities: Stim Drone and Medivac Dropship


Weaknesses:
[*] Cannot directly heal herself with Healing Beam
[*] Low health pool
[*] Very mana intensive, especially early game
[*] Has no escapes apart from displacement granade
[*] Is focused most of the time during teamfights

Ability Overview Top

Each of Morales' basic abilities have a different purpose. Healing Beam for healing (duh), Safeguard for damage mitigation and Displacement Grenade for survivability.
Your Healing Beam is one of the strongest single target heals in the entire game. It is always active meaning it has no cooldown. You can switch between any target instantly and will immediately start healing them. You cannot heal yourself with this ability so be make sure you have safe positioning. During fights, you should be mainly healing your tanks and melee assassins but be prepared to switch your beam to another teammate if they are being focused. This, coupled with Safeguard, makes a target incredibly heard to kill and will be your main form of supporting your allies. One more thing to note about Healing Beam, it drains your mana very fast so make sure to recall if needed before the first teamfight.
