Threat Hero Notes
1
Brightwing unless you play vs a double healer comp, BW just doesn't do the healing required to sustain vs this build.
2
  No Threat
3
Thrall Assassins without a good engagement tool really struggle vs this build.

Muradin Tank and Bruiser heavy builds naturally counter Kael'thas both through heavy amounts of health and dive styles of play. But you shouldn't have too much trouble once you hit your spike at 13.
7
Lt. Morales She can heal through a lot of your damage and you are a poke oriented hero. Make sure you have a hero on your team that can remove her from the fight.

9
Zeratul Dive oriented heroes and stealthies tend to ruin Kael's day. probably take Bolt of the Storm instead of Arcane Power vs these guys.

Will expand on this later.

Basically this build is stupidly powerful. IN THE RIGHT HANDS.

This is an expert level build for Kael'thas. You need to be able to not die with him for it to work. If you find yourself dying and unable to maintain your Gathering Power stacks don't get Arcane Power, Get Bolt of the Storm.

With the rework to Gathering Power in the Cho'Gall patch, getting that talent on level 4 is super viable. a full stack of 15 gives you 30% extra ability power. KT is strong even without Gathering Power. With it? He's ridiculous.

But here's the thing. GP is useless if you cant stay alive. That's where Arcane Barrier comes in at level 16. You should have enough mana at taht that the sheild will be massive and should save you from anything in a team fight setting. It wont save you if you get ganked, but at that point in the game DONT GET GANKED. Stay with your team.

Arcane Power can increase your extra ability damage from 30% to 45% which is plain silly. (we dont get it for the mana, because at this point the mana isnt really an issue for kael, but its a nice perk anyway) It only lasts 5 seconds, but thats enough for a full round of his ability rotaion.

I think this build is going to catch on really soon. I think its OP. Take advantage of it while you can.
