A new Patch has arrived in the Nexus and it's bringing with it reworks for Alarak and Tyrande as well as a few adjustments to Nova and Dehaka. But that's not all, there is also the introduction of the newest Hero to hit the roster, D.Va! To read about all the changes check out the Patch Notes below.


Your Highlord has returned! Alarak has received a large update that he has deemed “acceptable”, targeted at making him more rewarding for players who take the time to master him. Baseline changes include reworking his Sadism to be increased upon getting Takedowns and putting bonus damage into his Lightning Surge baseline for hitting enemies in its center beam. We’re also experimenting with some new talent ideas with Extended Lightning and Chaos Reigns, where players can gain huge benefits for the rarely accomplished feat of hitting 3 enemy Heroes with a single ability.


Discord Strike
- Now has Double Cross functionality baseline.
- Mana cost reduced from 55 to 45


Lightning Surge
- Mana cost reduced from 30 to 25
- Damage reduced from 100 to 62
- Enemies hit by the center of the beam now take 100% bonus damage
- Healing is no longer based on the amount of damage done to enemy Heroes
- Enemy Heroes hit now heal Alarak for 70 Health


Sadism
- Alarak now gains 3% Sadism per enemy Takedown, up to 30%. This bonus is lost on Death.
- Now also affects self-healing vs. enemy Heroes.


Ruthless Momentum
Basic Abilities recharge 20% faster while above 80% Health.


Show of Force
Heroes hit with 3 of Alarak's Abilities within 2 seconds take an additional 77 (+4% per level) damage.


Blade of the Highlord
Basic Attacks against Heroes increase Sadism by 7% for 4 seconds, stacking up to 35%. Basic Attacks against Heroes refresh this duration.


Rite of Rak'Shir
Activate to mark an enemy Hero for 300 seconds.

Hitting the marked Hero with Discord Strike increases Sadism by 3%. Killing the marked Hero increases Sadism by 5% and lowers the cooldown of Rite of Rak'Shir to 10 seconds.

Sadism gained from Rite of Rak'Shir is lost on death.


Lethal Onslaught
Hitting an enemy Hero with Discord Strike grants 50% of Sadism's damage bonus to Alarak's Basic Attacks for 4 seconds. Basic Attacks against Heroes refresh this duration.


Lightning Barrage
Hitting an enemy Hero with the center of Lightning Surge allows it to be cast again for free on a different primary target within the next 2 seconds. This free cast cannot benefit from Lightning Barrage.


Mocking Strikes
Basic Attacks against Stunned, Silenced, Slowed, or Rooted Heroes reduce the cooldown of Alarak's Basic Abilities by 2.5 seconds.

Sustaining Power
- Moved to Tier 1 from Tier 6
- Bonus Healing increased from 25 to 40%


Extended Lightning
Reduce Sadism by 10%.
Quest: Hit Heroes with the center of Lightning Surge.
Reward: After hitting 5 Heroes, increase Lightning Surge's range by 20%.
Reward: After hitting 15 Heroes, Lightning Surge's center also Slows enemies by 40% for 2 seconds.
Reward: After hitting 3 Heroes with the center of a single cast, increase Sadism by 10% and instantly gain all other Rewards.


Chaos Reigns
Quest: Hit Heroes with Discord Strike.
Reward: After hitting 15 Heroes, increase Discord Strike's damage by 50.
Reward: After hitting 2 Heroes with a single Discord Strike, increase its damage by 50.
Reward: After hitting 3 Heroes with a single Discord Strike, increase its damage by 80 and instantly gain all other Rewards.


Negatively Charged
Increase the Lightning Surge damage bonus to enemies between Alarak and his victim to 150%.
Repeatable Quest: Each Hero hit by the center of Lightning Surge permanently increases the damage bonus by 5%.


Dissonance
- Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 5
- No longer reduces Sadism by 10%.


Hindered Motion
- Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 5
- No longer reduces Sadism by 10%
- Slow amount reduced from 40% to 25%


Applied Force
- Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 1
- Added: Reduce the damage of Sadism by 10% but Telekinesis’s range is increased by 20% and it pushes 20% further.


Pure Malice
- Sadism bonus reduced from 8% stacking up to 40% max to 6% stacking up to 30% max.
- Hasty Bargain can now reduce this Sadism bonus


Last Laugh
Activate teleport to the chosen location and remove all Roots, Slows, and damage over time effects. If Alarak fails to hit enemy Heroes 3 times with Basic Abilities within 4 seconds of using Last Laugh, his Health is reduced to 1.

Hana Song, also known as “D.Va,” is both a world champion professional gamer and a burgeoning global icon. As a member of South Korea’s elite MEKA unit, she fights to protect her homeland from the colossal omnic threat lurking within the East China Sea.


MEKAout
While in her Mech, D.Va can shoot while moving, but her Movement Speed is reduced by 15%.


Mech Mode
When D.Va's Mech dies, she is ejected out after 0.75 seconds and can continue to fight. D.Va's Mech only awards 50% of a normal Hero's experience upon dying.


Pilot Mode
Basic Attacks reduce the cooldown of Call Mech by 0.5 seconds. As a Pilot, D.Va only awards 50% of a normal Hero's experience upon dying.


Torpedo Dash
Dash towards the target location, passing through enemies along the way.


Boosters
Increase D.Va's Movement Speed by 125% for 2 seconds. Enemies that are hit take 135 (+4% per level) damage and are knocked away.

D.Va cannot be Slowed while Boosters are active, and each enemy can only be hit once per use.


Concussive Pulse
Deal 141 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in a cone and knock them back.


Defense Matrix
Channel a defensive field in the target direction for 3 seconds, reducing the damage dealt by enemy Heroes inside it by 75%. The Mech can move while channeling, but cannot turn.

Damage dealt to the Mech from enemies within Defense Matrix still grants the same amount of Self-Destruct Charge.


Self-Destruct
Eject from the Mech, setting it to self-destruct after 4 seconds. Deals 400 (+4% per level) to 1200 (+4% per level) damage in a large area, depending on distance from center. Only deals 50% damage against Structures.

Gain 1% Charge for every 2 seconds spent Basic Attacking, and 30% Charge per 100% of Mech Health lost.


Call Mech
Call a new Mech and enter Mech Mode.

Basic Attacks lower this cooldown by 0.5 seconds each.


Big Shot
Deal 250 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in a line. The cooldown of Call Mech is reduced by 8 seconds for each enemy Hero hit.

Requires Pilot Mode.


Bunny Hop
D.Va's Mech becomes Unstoppable and stomps every 0.5 seconds, dealing 60 (+4% per level) damage and Slowing enemies by 40%. Lasts 4 seconds.

These changes are based primarily on win and pick rates of some of Dehaka's talent tiers. We removed some unpopular talents and combined a few others to make them more attractive. Dehaka's talent tree should now be a little bit sharper and hopefully open a few new build paths for players.


Dark Swarm
- Damage increased from 30 to 50
- Damage is now universal to all units (no bonus damage to Heroes)
- Cooldown increased from 9 to 10 seconds


Primal Rage
Gain 1% increased Attack Damage per Essence stored.


Primal Aggression
Primal Aggression has been removed


Essence Devourer
Essence Devourer has been removed


Swift Pursuit
Swift Pursuit has been removed


Tissue Regeneration
- Added functionality: Regeneration Globes grant 10 Essence


Enhanced Agility
- Movement Speed bonus per 50 Essence increased from 1.5 to 2%
- Added functionality: The duration of Brushstalker’s Movement Speed bonus after leaving brush increased from 1 to 3 seconds


Feeding Frenzy
- Cooldown reduction per attack changed from 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds


Ferocious Stalker
- New functionality: Your abilities deal 25% more damage while you have the Brushstalker Movement Speed buff



Anti-Armor Shells
- Custom UI has been added to show the cooldown before your next attack


During one of our design meetings many months ago, we came to the consensus that we wanted to swap the heal functionality between Tyrande and Uther. It felt like the self-heal mechanic was better suited on a front-line melee Healer, so we gave it to our favorite paladin in his latest rework. Instead of simply removing functionality from Light of Elune, we decided to add a large amount of cooldown reduction with every Basic Attack. This will reward players that can stay in combat and has allowed us to shift some of her power from healing output into more utility and offensive-based areas. Overall, we are extremely excited to see what our players can do with her new kit and look forward to hearing any feedback you have!


General
- Basic Attack damage decreased from 90.48 to 85.28


Shadowstalk
- New functionality: Tyrande gains stealth and 30% Movement Speed. When stealth is lost, she keeps her Movement Speed and gains 50% Attack Speed for 5 seconds
- Cooldown reduced from 60 to 30 seconds


Starfall
- Radius reduced from 6 to 5


Light of Elune
- Adjusted functionality: No longer heals yourself while healing allies
- The cooldown is now lowered by 2 seconds every time you land a Basic Attack
- Heal amount reduced from 320 to 270
- Cooldown increased from 8 to 12 seconds
- Mana cost reduced from 45 to 25


Sentinel
- Added functionality: Quest: Hit heroes with Sentinel. Reward: Every 8 Heroes hit with Sentinel allows it to pierce one target and lowers the Mana cost by 10


Moonlit Arrows
Basic Attacks decrease the cooldown of Light of Elune by an additional 0.75 seconds.


Kaldorei Resistance
Light of Elune grants the target 15 Spell Armor for 6 seconds. This effect stacks up to 3 times.


Darnassian Archery
Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes grant a stacking 5% increased Attack Damage bonus for 4 seconds. This bonus is lost when Basic Attacking non-Heroes.


Harsh Moonlight
Sentinel Slows the target by 25% and reduces their damage dealt by 25% for 4 seconds.


Elune's Chosen
Activate to make Tyrande's Basic Attacks heal the target ally for 200% of the damage dealt. Lasts for 5 seconds.


Eyes of the Huntress
After casting Shadowstalk, reveal all enemy Heroes for 3 seconds.


Shooting Star
Increase Basic Attack range by 1.1. Every 10 Basic Attack against Heroes casts a free Lunar Flare at a random Hero near Tyrande's position.


Iceblade Arrows
Increase Attack Speed by 25%. Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes reduce their damage dealt by 8% for 2 seconds. This effect stacks up to 5 times.


Seasoned Marksman
Seasoned Marksman has been removed

Focused Attack
Focused Attack has been removed


Protective Shield

- Adjusted Functionality Quest: Hit Heroes with Sentinel. Reward: Every enemy hit with Sentinel increases the damage at maximum range by 3%


Lunar Blaze
- Moved to Tier 1 from Tier 4
- New functionality: Quest: Every Hero hit by Lunar Flare increases its damage by 3%. Reward: After hitting 10 Heroes, remove the Mana Cost. Reward: After hitting 20 Heroes, increase the range by 40%


Ranger's Mark
- New functionality: Quest: Basic Attacks lower the cooldown of Hunter’s Mark by 1 second. Reward: For every 60 Basic Attacks against Heroes, increase the duration of Hunter’s Mark by 1 second


Celestial Attunement
- Moved to Tier 2 from Tier 1
- New functionality: Light of Elune removes stuns. If a stun is removed this way, Light of Elune can be recast for free within 3 seconds.


Huntress' Fury
- Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 5
- Reduced the splash radius by ~33%
- New functionality: Basic Attack’s against targets with Hunter’s Mark will damage all nearby enemy Heroes and Mercenaries


Trueshot Aura
- Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 6
- Adjusted functionality: Nearby allies have 10% increased Basic Attack damage. Activate: Double this bonus for 5 seconds


Quickening Blessing
- Moved to Tier 5 from Tier 3


Empower
- Moved to Tier 5 from Tier 1
- New functionality: Every Hero hit by Sentinel lowers its Cooldown by 4 seconds


Overflowing Light
- Moved to Tier 6 from Tier 5
- New functionality: While above 60% life, Light of Elune heals for 30% more


Mark of Mending
- New functionality: Tyrande’s Basic Attacks heal her for 2% of her maximum Health. Allied Heroes Basic Attacks against targets with Hunter’s Mark will heal for 3% of their maximum Health


Celestial Wrath
- New functionality: Enemy Heroes within Starfall have Hunter’s Mark applied to them
