Hello everybody,
i ve played alot Leoric to understand him and to get the max out of him.

Leoric is an Off Tank with a high focus on hero damage and self-healing. His uniqueness comes from the fact that he can't die! With his trait Undying , he becomes a very sustainable hero that can stay on the battlefield for all eternity. This means he is very good in the Mines,Sky Temple,Curse Hollow,Dragon Shire since its important to be at objectives.

Pros

- More Tanky than Sonya
- Good Laning Phase, has Dmg, healing, waveclear
- E is good escape tool
- Ofc his trait, one of the best traits in the game since you respawn instant where you are.
- Strong in 1vs1

Cons

- No CC
- No wombo combo , comeback, suprise engages. (example etc and anub have alot cc and etc Ult can change games)
- easy to burst down if hide behind minions in early game.
- March of the Black King is a hard Skillshot ult.
- No extra shieds or heals.

Basicaly he feels like Sonya,Crusader without any cc, so if you have a bad team you are really screwed.

So about my build, i tried many diff builds and i think this is the most effective one. Since Leoric has no cc, no engage , no rly suprise skills to outplay or engage for your team its a bit hard if you are the only tank but he can do it.

Lv1 Good in early laning phase, you can easly poke someone down without loosing much health.

Lv4 The most important Talent for Leoric if you want to ressurect fast & have sustain in lane. it works while you dead too, everytime your minions die close to you, you revive faster. You basical have to hit your slows and go back to lane, you will revive super fast and if you just hit Lv4 and you are 1v1s in a lane you get healed everytime your minions die.

lv7 Your first slow, i thought its stupid at first but once you slow some enemies with it and your team pick up the kills you actually feel like a CC Tank.

lv10 No questions about that, this ult combined with the Lv20 upgrade and you are lifestealing the **** out of enemies for few seconds. This utl is hard to hit since you cannot control Leoric so use it wise , the best is if all are in a line or the enmies get cc'ed you can use ur Q first to slow them and then Ult for example.

Lv13 Very good for some extra DMG since Leoric has no suprise engage like jumps, You will often go into enemies and Q them , tank a bit and go out, This Talent give you extra dmg and it well combined with Leoric.

lv16 Since ur Q already Slow with this Talent you slow two times to make sure your enemies stay slowed so your team can clean up.

lv20 Probably Leoric's best engage & outplay tool, if your last hit of the ult is close to 5 enemies , your will hit 5 enemies and you will be god for about 10 second, the enemies in this time will attack you but you heal up faster. This is Leorics Trick how to engage tank the **** and let your team clean up.

Early Game : you can win lanes vs melee assassins thanks to your W so be aggresive and send ppl back to fountain. You are also tanky enought to escape with E

Mid Game : You shouldnt stay in lane when objectives spawn , you should help your team even if you die thats where Leorics speciality activates. Secuire objective try to tank as much as possible and go out to survive.

Late Game : pretty much the same, Leoric is strongest in objectives to control them, you are strong 1vs1 remember that you can lifesteal Health back always and Leoric is only strong with a team behind him, once you hit lv20 and upgrade your Ult , you can yolo engage vs 5 enemies and lifesteal all 5.
