El'Druin's Might (Q)El'Druin's Might is my favorite ability on Tyreal. It gives you high mobility and is amazing at positioning. Pressing (Q) again will trigger Angelic Flash. |
Righteousness (W)Tyreal has no where near the HP that a tank like Stitches or Diablo has. But with this ability, paired with the lvl 13 talent Angelic Absorption, You are going to become a force to be reckoned with. |
Smite (E)Smite is the main damage dealer for Tyreal. When Cast Aside was still a thing, it made for ultimate control. Nowadays, the ability can still be quite potent though. When needed, a good Smite placement can mean life or death, for you and your enemies. |
Judgement (R)This is an extremely powerful heroic ability. Allowing you to initiate or interrupt E.T.C.'s Mosh Pit and Nazeebo's Ravenous Spirit. I pick this heroic ability 99.99% of the time. |
Sanctification (R)Sanctification gives you the ability to save your entire team from death. Providing invulnerability to all within the area excluding yourself. |
Purge EvilPurge evil is a great talent, giving you the damage that you want. Since Smite is Tyreal's main offensive ability, Purge Evil will increase your damage output significantly. |
Horadric ReforgingI used to pick this talent over Purge Evil. But I quickly realized that I was using El'druin's Might for mobility rather then damage. |
Amplified HealingI choose this talent with my lvl 13 talent in mind. This doesn't only allow you to receive more healing from supports but when you get Angelic Absorption, you will easily be able to stay in a fight way longer than normal. |
Vampiric AssaultThis is definitely a good talent, but doesn't work very well with this build unless you choose Searing Attacks. Yes, our smite is doing a good amount of damage, but Tyreal's cooldowns are too long for it to make a difference. |
RetributionTyreal is already a squishier tank than most. To pass up two extremely powerful talents like Amplified Healing and Vampiric Assault, would be a bad choice. Also Smite has a mediocre range, so hitting more than two-three people would be rather rare. |
Even in DeathThis talent has the same problem has Protection in Death. Not only does it make you depend on dying, you won't be doing anymore damage then before. |
Searing AttacksThis is an overall good talent to take. It will give you even higher burst that most people don't expect from a Tyreal. Has great synergy with Vampiric Assault, but doesn't give the mobility that I prefer. |
Battle MomentumThis talent deals with the long cooldowns that Tyreal has. Allowing for you to be more active and a larger threat. |
ReciprocateReciprocate has great synergy with Amplified Healing and Angelic Absorption. I use this talent when I don't have a support with me. |
ZealotryThis isn't a bad talent, it just has bad placement. All of the other talents are just better than this one. If you are going a shield heavy than you will want Reciprocate not this one. Tier 4 |
JudgementThis is a powerful Heroic Ability allowing for an interrupt and a powerful initiator. Interrupts are so important in Heroes, that this heroic easily overshadows Sanctification. |
SanctificationThe ability to make your entire team invulnerable is extremely powerful, Judgment is just so much better. With a well timed Judgement you can save your team, or chase down a hero. |
