Glad it's worked for you:) as you mentioned it really comes down to your minions stacking and distracting the enemy team, it requires some communication with your team because to be honest, they probably won't have any idea what your doing, it isn't exactly a meta way to play abathur, but it really works with most maps, though for mines I would probably run a double hive mind assassin or hero cloneing build

I have a lot of fun using your build, I've even used it in Hero League with success. It's a good idea to note that you will be behind most of the game with this build. It is not something that lets you win objectives early on. Your team will say things like, "Aba wtf are you doing, your push isn't even strong, go back to QM." The idea as explained above is to allow your minions to stack up 2-4 and to distract your enemy enough to get to endgame taking out walls, towers, forts if they team fight for too long. At level 20 with Hive Mind, the Symbiote Heals, shields, and damage output allows your team to really bring it in team fights. If you try this, it might be a good idea to warn your team not to dive too much, and to slow the enemy down rather then try to rack up kill after kill in early game. Once Abathur gets monstrosity and minion waves start to stack, they are forced to defend. This is where the tide of the game starts to change.

Again, I am not a pro, nor am I amazing at hero league blah blah blah, but this build works and it is a fun outside of the box Abathur build.

In quick matches I make a fun troll version taking 16 - Volatile Mutation and 20 - Evolution Complete. You really mow down the minions and pack a punch against heros. I try to constantly move the monstrosity out of lanes with traffic, until I tunnel him into an important team fight. Sometimes I will control him with Symbiote, other times I will tunnel him into traffic then Symbiote another ally.

Hey, thanks again! I've been having so much fun playing this style win or lose.
