I don't see why Amplified Healing is labelled as "bad" while Hammer of the Lightbringer is labelled "situational".
Why would you take a mana regenerating talent that is active only at specific times (when you attack) and gives static mana regen, when you can take a mana regenerating talent that is active permanently, scales into the late-game AND also improves any healing you receive, which ALSO scales into the late-game?
Amplified Healing permanently boosts your mana regen by 30%. At level 4, that is extra 0,987 regen, which is the equivalent of collecting 10 more regen globes for Conjurer's pursuit (extra 1.45 regen at L20 or 14 extra globes). Plus, it also improves any mana regen you gain from Conjurer's pursuit, so each globe you actually collect translates to permanent 0.13 mana regen with this talent. The more you collect, the better this talent is.
Amplified Healing permanently improves your self-sustain, not just by increasing your HP regen slightly, but also by boosting any Wave of Light you cast, because this spell automatically heals yourself. So even if you are not trying to heal yourself, you will be healing yourself and this talent will improve that in addition to the mana regen.
Compared with Hammer of the Lightbringer, you can see that the mana you would get from Hammer of the Lightbringer comes back to you naturally every 6 seconds at L4 (and much faster as the game progresses) even while you're not autoattacking. And you are not always autoattacking - mounted movement, running away when focused. Autoattacking also puts you in melee range, where enemies will poke you.
That's why Hammer of the Lightbringer is an inferior talent and Amplified Healing needs a new label.
I would agree with you, but unfortunately the "regeneration" Amplified Healing refers to, is Health regeneration. I've done some testing, and no where did I see it contribute to Mana Regeneration.
Granted, I don't give Amp healing enough credit. The synergy it has with Holy Radiance, and Hardened Focus is quite fantastic. I need to update the guide anyway, so I'll be sure to keep Amp Healing in mind.
I am not pretentious, so I picked the noob friendly build. And it worked so well, and was very successful in QM. Thanks for the time to write guides like this.
(I agree with Chadimus this needs way more votes) Excellent guide! I really enjoyed the Useful Duo-Que buddies! part in particular. Really helpful to know how best to combo Uther with certain heroes for maximum effect. Looking forward to playing him more often now.
I'm glad you enjoyed, I'll be sure to keep that section regularly updated as new patches come out, or if I just see a particular comp that strikes my fancy. :)

This guide needs WAAAAAAYYYY more votes than it has. Great work! Great attention to detail by including situational builds and builds for new players. :)
Thank you very much. I really tried to show that there is more than one way to build a character, I'm glad you appreciated it. :)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. :)
Heroesfire decided to promote this for a reason. This guide is if nothing else, a template for guides. Articulate and informative.
Indeed we did and it sure is great work! :)
