@Mermeoth
I updated a lot of the Deeper Look sections. I actually wrote some of them already but it looks like it didn't save back then. Thanks for the feedback!

I actually like Bolder Flavor talent. In past I pushed a lot with Chen, eating ammo and taking down buildings and minions with fire breath. It's only alternative pick at level 16 in my own Chen guide.
40% is really cool, it's just that Pressure Point is more useful usually, although Bolder Flavor has it's pros, it is usually better to be helpful in team fight.

Yeah I think it's better now.
Maybe some talents could have more your thoughts in "Deeper look".
Anyway, so far it is the best Chen guide out there.

I updated the builds to reflect the importance of Pressure Point and edited the Level 16 Talents to emphasize the value of this Talent. I did not mean to undervalue this in any way since it is the best Talent for Chen at that tier.

On the other hand, I feel Bolder Flavor is not given enough credit in your estimation. With Relentless, you can save your Fortifying Brew until you weather the brunt of the enemy cc and start drinking. As a way to tank enemy cc's in team fights or building ammo during sieges, it can provide you with a level of durability given the proper timing of the ability. That is just a personal opinion.

Thanks for pointing out that I emphasize Bolder Flavor over Pressure Point, since that was not my intention. However, I wanted to point out the strengths of Chen's abilities that people may undervalue or underappreciate.

I had originally intended these builds to not be competitive to show a more fun side to Chen's play. For this reason I had a section devoted to competitive and Hero League, but I can see where you're coming from and have changed the focus towards Pressure Point.

Edit: Let me know if the changes are good enough! I am always open to feedback good or bad.

Personally I would try to promote Pressure point much more than you do. From whole guide I have feeling like Bolder Flavor is overall better talent.

Imho Chen doesn't bring much to team fights. His dmg output is rather low. His CC is almost non-existant. Pressure point is pretty important talent to be competent. Ofc it helps you to catch enemy or helps you to land keg smash + fire breath combo succesfully, however it mainly help you to pick off dangerous melee heroes from your weaker allies. If you can't CC or do dmg, you can at least to help you team to do their job. Bolder Flavour's 40% more shield on ability which gets interrupted all time in current build is much more inferior

Thank you! I have a lot of inaccuracies in the guide still and I'm trying to fix them up as I go along. I have about 100 games played on Chen in Hero League and ~50% win rate. That doesn't speak well for me personally, but I hope the guide speaks for itself. Outside of Hero League I have ~50 games on Chen.

Nice job, tbh you made the guide very pretty. How much games have you played with Chen?

Thanks! It still needs a lot of work but I like to think that it is constantly being updated in the minds of the readers. I'm still learning new things about Chen every day, so if anyone has anything to contribute, I will definitely give due credit!

@dreamstate
Thank you for your contribution! I added your video and credited you in the changelog. I think it's tough to do, but maybe people can look to your video for inspiration.

pandarenale,

Last week, I completely surrounded a Raynor in the middle lane of Dragonshire with Storm, Earth, and Fire. I uploaded the replay since I read you hadn't seen something like that before. Because of his Adrenaline Rush, I didn't finish him in the body block, but I split past the enemy wall and was able to finish him and live. Unfortunately, I stuck around drinking too long and a Kerrigan eventually wiped me up.

Enjoy,

PS Sorry for the poor production quality. Did everything on my laptop.

@Ramladon
Thank you! A lot of the things are common across different heroes and maps so I hope some of the stuff here can be useful in other areas of gameplay too.
