Threat Hero Notes
1
Abathur No real threat from him or his symbiotes, Muradin has a lot of mobility to avoid any tophatting going on.
1
Anub'arak His DPS is weak and his CC is easy to avoid with your dwarf toss.
2

3
Tyrael

5
Illidan Illidan can chase you down just like any other target, your only chance of escaping his DPS is a good dwarf toss out of his range preferably leaping over terrain.
6
Nazeebo His DPS is nothing to joke about but you have a great escape utility to get yourself out of any zombie walls and you're a good counter to stunning him during his ultimate.
7
Sgt. Hammer Extremely hard to encounter on late game but having the ability to stun hammer in place is very beneficial to your team.

This is an overall well balanced sustain build for Muradin which will keep him in the fight as long as possible with plenty of health, mana, and consistently having all of your abilities ready as soon as possible.

Infused Hammer: This is your only real option of having any kind of mana return which will keep you in the fight longer.

Block: Rarely do I ever take this talent on any character as two auto attacks are going to be really quick and only providing you with 50% protection periodically from basic attacks.

Perfect Storm: Unless you're picking up Piercing Bolt, this isn't worth it and focusing on single target DPS for Muradin isn't very ideal.

Reverberation: If you don't mind or don't think you'll have too many mana problems then I would go with this as it will provide additional support to your team by lowering the attack speed of enemies in an AOE.

Skullcracker: How often are you really going to be glued to a single target to rely on every 3rd attack stunning for .25 seconds? Probably not very often, let your [[Avatar}} do this job for you.

Third Wind: This is the bread and butter to this build and will allow you to get back into combat in the matter of seconds without having to return back to base to get health. I honestly wouldn't pick any other talent in this tier.

Sledgehammer: Muradin isn't a pusher so I'm not sure how this could be viable at all, seems really unnecessary.

Crowd Control: Our next tier ability will be doing all of the work for reducing cooldowns, there's no reason at all to be taking this.

Thunderburn Possibly the only talent i'd consider getting if Third Wind wasn't so good but still not worth it IMO. People can easily avoid it and the slow is marginal at best for a short duration.

Piercing Bolt: Not a bad talent at all especially with the first talent we picked up. You'll actually be getting back more mana than you spend assuming you hit multiple targets with it. Feel free to get this if you want to keep your mana up even more.

Landing Momentum: Another good talent which is going to help you better escape or chase. I already feel though that the basic dwarf toss is good enough as is for either function.

Battle Momentum: This is absolutely great for Muradin! You will be lowering the CD on all abilities allowing you to toss, aoe, stun, heal, and ultimate more often. I've become rather attached to this talent and don't think I would sacrifice it for anything else.

Follow Through: Likely the weakest link of this talent tree, it's a very small damage increase since Muradin doesn't have a whole lot going for his basic attacks.

Avatar: Instant maximum health gain and the ability to stun people on every basic attack? uhmmm..YEAH! Not to mention you just look big and scary which does really demoralize the enemy team when they see it.

Haymaker: I can't imagine why anyone would give this the time of day, it's really one of the worst ultimates out there that I can think of off the top of my head.

Burning Rage: This is my favorite ability typically to pick at this level because you're going to always be in the middle of the fight. This is going to add up on your DPS in any fight and give you the ability to solo camps as well.

Healing Static: If you feel that you need some extra in-combat healing rather than DPS then go ahead and use this talent instead, it can be a substantial amount if you hit enough targets.

Thunderstrike: It's very situational since it requires you to only hit 1 target with it but if you find yourself in a lot of 1v1 situations this is going to give you some decent burst damage.

Spell Shield: If you've been dying too much previously and feel that you absolutely need some more defense then you may want to consider picking this up instead.

Dwarf Launch: This is pretty good to have an extra 50% range on your leap but again, I feel that all of the mechanics on the base ability are fine as is.

Heavy Impact: Also decent for a short stun but not really necessary, it's better to try to leap in front of someone if you're chasing them so that you can body block them. A lot of the time you'll be using this as an escape mechanism so I feel that attaching a stun to it would be a waste.

Executioner: If you really feel like DPSing with him then go ahead, this could work well with all of the stun potential but I'd suggest making an entirely different build with Muradin based on slowing and stunning. It doesn't fit with this build at all.

Imposing Presence: If you're the main tank and confident in the healers on your team, this may be a good option to minimize damage from the enemy team if they are focusing you.

Stoneform: This is a huge heal which I feel is very beneficial because your Second Wind trait will never be benefiting you during combat. This talent will compensate for that and allow you to keep yourself alive in combat. Paired up with Battle Momentum, you will be able to sustain for a long time with this.

Unstoppable Force: I typically pick this because of the increased duration of your ultimate. The longer you're in your Avatar form, the more chaos you're causing for the enemy team. All abilities in this tier are really to your preference for your current match and sometimes I will pick others.

Hardened Shield: Not a bad alternative and this as well will go well with [Battle Momentum]] allowing you to be even more tanky more often.

Rewind: Another good alternative but maybe not so for a level 20 ability. Muradin used to have this at a lower tier and I always picked it up but now...not so much...Perhaps this would be more suitable to a different build where you have more of your abilities empowered.
