Nazeebo's "best guide" is def different. This was quite an ambitious idea, I wish you could have other people help you on it like a wiki. I would definitely work on this in my spare time, I love doing guides and whatnot.

Also for a beginners guide, maybe just a brief overview of their skills (actual numbers), talents and preferred talents in the tree would be enough of a start for the beginners. It would also take a LOT less work to update with every changing patch.

Sadly, the guide is outdated, for now I would avoid, after reading the first review on Abathur, can quickly see how much has changed with the hero and many talents are not there or renamed, and withh the latest venture into closed beta, the stats are probably off

Quick tip. You could make your table of contents link instead of making people do ctrl-F by doing something like this.
Code:
[url="#ch3"]Abathur - Evolution Master[/url]

The only bummer is that if you add a chapter somewhere in the middle of your doc, you'll have to re-number everything in your TOC.

Also, I like the idea of an introductory guide. But I don't think it's a good idea to go into this much detail for every hero in a single guide. I'd keep your outline of the heroes real brieft and add links to your own hero guides or others (I noticed you linked to 2 of mine.) You could give a brief outline of each hero for new players, pros, cons and maybe strats for dealing with them when fighting them. But I think it makes more sense to keep it to the basics on each hero in an intro, link to other guides for details, and spend even more time on map strats, game mechanics, the general early, mid and late game play, etc.

If you keep going with this much detail on each hero, it's going to scare away new players, and will be too much for it's purpose: to give new players just enough information to start playing and learn more later. Plus, if they keep adding heroes, this guide is going to become a monster.

All that said, I think the beginner's guide is a great idea, and I'm glad you're trying to boil down info to what people need to know to get moving without noobing it up.

This is a great introductory guide. As players grow in skill, they should reference it less and less, but there's really nothing better for the first few matches.

This is amazing. Thank you very much for this great overview to Heroes of the Storm. Also the idea of linking good guides for each champion is very helpful. Keep up the good work :)

The guides iteself might be good.. but the page have sections and categories for a reason. So its easier to find the guide for yourself.. and you pull all the **** on single page. Thats realy hard to find anything useful

Sorry everyone for not updating recently. My grandmother just had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her breast. Been busy taking care of her. Hopefully soon I can start updating again.

Feel free to PM me with any specific questions then; I can't say I know all the heroes inside and out but I specialize in a few of them. :P

Help would be awesome now since I can no longer test heroes. x)

Was only able to test 18/29.
